LJ – Great to get some banter going and good to see that you are optimistic about OM’s chances this year. I am however curious as to where you are getting your mail about De La’s lack of quality and depth?
Lost key premiership players through being overage and others to seniors. Will still be thereabouts but a few injuries, along with a slow start and they will hit trouble.

Yeah i dont know how OM's can at all be talking themselves up with a loss to their seconds last year !! Also they have a new coach i believe??? how is he going? thought your other coach was ordinary, no real game plan and talked some shit at the breaks, you really relied on just the talent in the group taking control.
Also the Dairy Bell at Hawthorn has closed down so it looks like a few more ppl will be spending their time a bit closer to De La (i know i will be)

Beleive also that St Bedes played a side from the Northern FL. Have heard that Old Mentonians (Sth 1) comfortably beat Beauy a week or so back. Was it the Beauy Premier or Sth 2 side?

what is this de la slow starter crap....every team starts slowly...its rnd one and ure talking about a team thats won what 4 outa the last 5 under 19 premier titles being knocked over by a side that fell into premier this year...im happy to wear the egg on my face but they wont go down to old melb or whatever.

Was walking the dog round the albert park area and saw wat looked like OMs training on a small oval near junction. They were looking sharp with alot of tough physical work. Also DLS better watch out for Gooley's tackling power and outstanding leadership from Harold Joop. So DLS better be switched on otherwise it could be a shock start to the season.
