^^ You'll love this then, should only take up a minute or two of your bosses time

http://media.smh.com.au/?rid=26124&sy=smh&source=melbournecrime.bizhosting.com/victor.brincat.htm

It's the actual recording from the bug in Victor Brincat's car
(the running man, for those who have seen E10)
at the moment when Michael Marshall was murdered in South Yarra. You can hear them talking as they spot the target, then a door slams and you can hear five faint shots, then th door slams again and the car drives off while the driver tells the shooter repeatedly to stay down. You can hear their scanner going nuts within seconds, as calls flooded 000, then sirens start from ever direction.

It's full on, though I wish the script writers had used this material to give the scene a bit more authenticity.

Scratch that, the link I posted apparently now only loads a car ad :(

We didn't get any boobs or shots of West's ass (unless you count really hard angles) yet we got at least two "front on" shots of Gyton Grantley's (the actor who plays Carl Williams) ass :thumbsd:

As for this being seen in Geelong, I think Geelong people would be better off downloading it off torrents rather than watching a shitty signal from Tasmania.

Anyways I found the following multimedia interactive webpage where said author narrates various short stories relating to the Victims, the suspects, the familys and the investigations related to the gangland killings.

http://www.theage.com.au/gangland/multimedia/Index/contents.html

It gives good background information in those involved and helps satisfy those like myself who have yet to see the tv series.

Enjoy

Fascinating. Thanks for that link.

Episode 9 was friggen brilliant, was a real build to the murder and when it happened thankfully it didn't disappoint.

Also the rise of Carl Williams is very interesting to watch, although it all goes downhill from there.

hi would love to get episodes 11-13 if have will meet anywhere will pay what you want really want bad thanks

People say that the whole season is out there but I'm sure I read a quote in the paper where a Channel 9 spokesperson was adamant that they hadn't actually finished filming the last three episodes yet...

Why, what's the problem? What torrent client are you using?

I used bit torrent to download. it downloaded allright but when i open in media player is plays audio only and not the visual. it's listed as an avi file if that means anything. other torrents i have downloaded b4 have been mpeg and of course work allright.

Does anyone know how i can correct / convert or should i be usuing a different type of player??

anyhelp would be appreciated. PM me if appropriate.

Filming was completed in October last year. The Nine spokesperson was talking shit in an attempt to stop people downloading the show and/or meant that post-production work such as editing, sound work, etc was still being tweaked on the final three episodes.

Download and install this:

http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm

It will install Media Player Classic (not to be confused with Window Media Player [WMP]), when you install if you want to keep using WMP then just make sure that when you install you don't assign all your media file types to Classic. WMP should play Underbelly but if not try Classic. Classic will do just about everything WMP can plus more...

Ok...I've watched my 1-9 eps, and I am hooked.
Anyone know where I can find 10 and what ever others are complete? PM me if you have a weblink etc.

Although the slow-mo walk/'MTV fight scenes' have been carpetted on this thread, it's refreshing to see an Australian TV show that doesn't still shoot like Esme and Cookie have stumbled across an evil scheme hatched by a yuppie from the big smoke (Burrigan).

That said, the flip horizontal was way overdone last ep - especially during the scene where Frankie J. Holden gave a dressing down to the detective with the hawt girlf.

Phhhh... Elitist  ;)

Nah, honestly, I've never tried it. Downloading it now, it looks like it could be pretty useful.

Thx for the recommendation.

I used to use K-Lite as well. It's a bigger download and comes with plenty of crap.

Then I was told about VLC and its so much tidier and easier

Personaly I have been disappointed from what I have seen so far. The casting for a start has been dubious at best. Quite a few home and away and neighbours stars getting a gig based on their likeness to the real life characters - enough said. As great as Vince was as Alphonse, I believe that he was wrong for the part as all I saw was Vince and not really Gangitano.

Kat stewart is an emerging talent in Australia but I reckon that her portrayl of Roberta Williams was way over the top and far to hammy.

On the psitive side the performace of the actor who played Carl Williams (sorry don't know his real name) - was superb. For me this guy steals every scene he is in and adds layers of depth to a verycomplex character.

Roger Corser as Steve Owen is also suberb and first rate, this guys should really try his luck in America as he has serious talent.

Honourable mention to Simon Westaway as Mick Gangitano
