Nine would have sent out a bunch of screeners to the media over a month ago, so there'd probably be a few copies already passed into civilian hands and watched.


Pretty good first episode, except for a couple of the techniques used editing/slo mo while walking to music, but there was no dialogue that stunk it up, and it looks like the whole thing will be worth watching.

Piggy Williams came off as a bit of a 'disabled'

I loved it ..after reading all the underbelly books i was wondering how they would adapt the premise to tv ...they did a pretty good job ..pretty good acting ..I have it copied to DVD already ...now for the next episode

Same as you having read it all. I just cant handle Lewis Moran being the bloke that used to be Harold Bishop's son on neighbours...

Apart from that not too bad...

Jason and Mark Moran are just what i thought theyd be. It was always said that Jason was a hot head and his older bro would try and keep him in line.

I think they have over done the naiveity of Carl Williams. As someone said they painting the picture that he is bordering on ******ation.

I look forward to meeting Benji Veniamin when he comes along. Those who dont know, if you thought the Black Prince was a loose cannon - wait till you see this fella.

Colosimo stole the show and to have him killed off so early was a joke. I realise he died early but not in the first bloody episode. The rest of those jokers cant act to save themselves. Great script and the rest of it but god awful acting means it wont reach that many heights

yeah I know what you mean - i just think they are playing up to it a bit. My only slight criticism. The actor is doing a good job.
