"Are you going out with my sister?"

"Yeah"

"You know she's a massive ____?"

"BEAUTY!!"

:D
^hahaha i had a good laugh at that one. it's the way he says beauty that makes it all the more fantastic

The Jolie bit last night was a bit lame though

^lame in what way?

i actually thought it was one of the best bits of acting last night, especially from dimitriades.

unless you mean lame in that you don't like what was written for the charactersto say?

I thought that bit was funny, the way he was licking his lips ...

Does anyone know why Kinniburgh was gunned down?

Why did Williams start going after the Carlton Crew anyway? Seemed to be signing his own death warrant.

^The morans = part of carlton crew, and williams hated the morans because jason moran shot him in 99 when they found out williams had been selling their drugs on the side for self-profit (according to the show)

carlton crew and williams people continued to dislike each other thereafter

-----------------------

im guessing that kinniburgh was gunned down as a sign of threatening gatto/carlton crew, but like the show says, his murder still hasn't been solved, so i can't really say

Anyone in the know - was Benji actually a good bloke like he was portrayed in the show; or just a complete pyschopathic bastard?

Actually kind of liked him; shame Benji/Mick/Carl didn't team up.
Read bits of the book, and Damian Walshe-Howling's comments on his readings of Benji, and apparently alot of people in the underworld claimed that he was a really nice guy. But then he had these physco momments when he nailed his mates.

The Morans were apart of the Carlton Crew, so he was just knocking down their empire.

As they said tonight, they still haven't solved Kinniburgh's murder, but I think he may of been gunned down because he was simply apart of the Carlton crew so they needed to show they meant business.

Gangitano and Kinniburgh's murders have never been solved.

Yeah I get that.

But it just seems a tad more irrational then all his behaviour up to date if you get what I mean. Every other killing was about financial gain, revenge or watching his own arse.

But a pre-emptive strike against a powerful faction seems a bit suicidal to me.

Possibly they had just gotten so confident by that point that they thought themselves invincible.

Seemed very silly to kill 'The Munster,' first, as he was the smallest threat.

Surely Gatto would've been where you started, as he was the one who'd likely sort you out in return.

As for the reasoning, maybe Carl assumed that all of the Carlton Crew were happy for the Morans to knock him off, so he wanted go stitch them all up? Also his neighbour who killed himself, but who knows if that was a real spur as well?

Benji seemed like a good bloke to the people that treated him in the same manner as he treated them. Examples are his friendship/loyalties to Williams and Gatto (Before their fatal argument).

To me it seemed that Gatto hated the fact that one of his 'Boys', Benji, was friends, a close friend at that, with one of his and the Carlton crews enemies. Also, to the fact that he always suspected Benji was behind the Kinniburgh killing, when he wasn't.

I also believe that Williams was afraid of Gatto, as he knew Gatto is a take no bullshit kind of bloke.

Good to see tonight episode was set in 2004 and every character that has been in it since day one has not aged one bit.

Other than that it not a bad show, the acting get tiresome at points but it’s a good drama on a low level budget.

Only nine years have passed since the first episode. Probably not worth worrying about.

Was it not a revenge killing (even though it has not been solved) for Gatto gunning down Benji in self defence?? You would asume he was seen as a easier target than Gatto or Condelo.

Kinniburgh was knocked off before Benji.

Carl's on air chat with Derryn was rather amusing - he changed his mind on what he did for a living 3 or 4 times in about 30 seconds. And his training session with Benji was very funny.

The accent changes are still there too. Mick Gatto's accent changed from Italian to Aussie to Italian in no more than 10 seconds.

Last night's ep was a bit flat compared to the last few, but should be alright next week. Looks like Carl will get a bit upset with Roberta.

Also, time for some decent racks to go on display again.:D

Sorry your correct it was thought to be either a revenge killing for Gagitano or because they were unable to locate Jason Moran and went for the easier kill becasue he was a part of the Carlton Crew.

Wtf?

Jason Moran was already dead.

And wasn't Kinniburgh himself one of Gangitano's best mates?

Didn't think they had to make up the Roberta-Benji affair. Was pointless and stupid. (and made me want to puke really).

That wasn't made up... Check the book 'Bigshots', Adam Shand befriended Carl and Roberta and he thought it was pretty obvious after Benji died that Roberta was head over heels in love with him.
