Good to see tonight episode was set in 2004 and every character that has been in it since day one has not aged one bit.

Other than that it not a bad show, the acting get tiresome at points but it’s a good drama on a low level budget.

This isn't like Goodfellas that was set over 30 years....No big deal.

Are you kidding? It isn't low budget at all

$12 million dollar for a television show is peanuts.

Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg made a 10 part series for HBO called Band of Brothers and that had a budget of $125,000,000.

Channel 9 spent $12,000,000 on Underbelly.

Not by Aust standards. 1m per episode is pretty huge.

And this is a little OT but for those interested Nine are airing Blue Murder sometime in May. The first ep is after the Underbelly finale IIRC.

Two.

"Best Laid Plans" and "Team Purana."

Great series.

The bloke who played Benji Veniamin is a gun actor. He looks familiar, I know I've seen him somewhere before but I can't put my finger on what it was.....

Was on Blue Heelers back in the day

I'm not going to read through 50 odd pages of posts so I am unsure if this has been raised but I was wondering if anyone knows why they can not name the characters the 'runner' and the 'driver'.

It is not the fact that they can not be named but the fact that the smallest little bit of research will allow you to find out their identity.

If this information is so easily accessible online what is the point?

I suppose you sould say, "what is the point of Suppressing Channel 9 from broadcasting Underbelly in Victoria, when it too is so accessible online??"

It's to keep the Mushrooms in the Dark and to continue feeding them Bull shit.:D

And that’s the kind of person they are after for the jury.

Because the Supreme Court said so.

Marcus Graham will nunchuck the shit out of you.

Not after tonight he won't. :)

I am enjoying this show, it has a following where I work to almost cult status. However, tonight's episode to me was a bit dis-jointed. Bad editing? I thought the producers would have gone a bit more into Lewis Moran and him being a man of habit which brought down his early demise. Oh well. One more to go.

After watching tonight's episode it's no wonder that the series was pulled from Victoria.

That would have certainly be succesful grounds for appeal if the jury was able to watch it.

I agree with that - the death of Lewis Moran was probably the worst one.

I didn't like how they did Benji, but I understand that they did it like that because no one knows exactly what happened.

But Moran, everyone knows how it happened, and it was almost the point where Williams 'won,' - I think it deserved a lot more.

Well, it was clear they wanted to portray that Gatto knocked him in a premeditated manner, as opposed to the 'official' jury findings, that it was a random pwning after Benji saw the red mist and pulled the gun on him.
