i think having to sit on the bench while fergie played valncia in his position really got to him because he looked like he was on another level when he was given a start against fulham

The only reason why people may not rate him is because he never played for one of the big clubs. Fantastic player at his best and fair play to him for sticking with Roma.

As in he could have won much more and made way more money if he moved to one of the traditional big teams such as Real, Barca, Man United, Milan, Juventus...

Was ready to get rid of him last season but has been great this season
