So I was actually meant to type Sleeping Dogs and I think Jimmy Colorado did as well but I still knew what he meant because Sleeping Dogs was the successor to True Crime. 🧐

So disregard the Watchdogs comment but for the record the first two are decent junk food games and Legion is poo.

I only just noticed that I typed 'Watchdogs'; yes, was referring to 'Sleeping Dogs', šŸ˜†

Actually saw it was on sale for $5 or $6, so have bought it for the third time (PS3 when it came out, then PS4 and now on Series X). Game is worth it.

I only finished it once when it came but.

SAW: the video game, really enjoyed it from memory. I don’t know anyone else who’s played it šŸ˜‚
I had it. Can't recall how far I got but there is now at least 2 of us that played it. 🤣

I play a bunch of old games, and my new games re a embles them.

Master of Command is a history flavoured 7 years war game. Total War style battles (so pretty and a bit realistic), slightly abstract 3 act campaign, unit experience and equitable items. Best of all you can edit unit flags and uniform colours.

Last Train home is Company of heroes for the Russian Civil war: campaign is literally on rails but has dinky tactical combat. Roster management a tiny bit like XCOM though.

Bought Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition last year or the year before.

I really need to play it.

Wasteland 3 is up there along side NV as the best Fallout games. I think it’s a brilliant CRPG.

Outer worlds 2 was brilliant. It’s not mid. It’s a fantastic ARPG.

And gears tactics is the best gears of war game I’ve played.

Also classified France 1944 is as good as xcom 2.

And dead island 2 was some great dumb fun.

If anyone likes platformers, Ape Escape 1 is a massive gem, especially with the gadgets.
Massive fan of the Ape Escape games. Probably bit of nostalgia involved but I'd love a remake or revamp.

I hired Ape Escape from the video store when it first came out only to learn that I needed the new dual shock controllers that I didn't have. I did play it when the released on PS Plus but didn't really spend much time in it.

I bought a dual shock for the game originally, so have what 6 controllers for the PSX in a box somewhere, but yeah Ape Escape was brilliant.

Planet of the Apes in polygonal form.

Never played a True Crime game per se, but what was going to be True Crime 3 became Watchdogs. I know on this board that game is held up, but it really should have had a bigger footprint in broader culture.

Even though you mean't sleeping dogs I still think your comment is accurate in regards to Watchdogs.

If any of you like Resident Evil/survival horror games, The Evil Within 1 and 2 is top tier of the genre. They're my favourite stealth games, too. I wish they made a third one, or at least another game with the same mechanics.
