Why the personal attack on me?
Because she is feeling insecure about her lack of understanding, she needs to lash out at someone.

Why she would choose you is hard to define - but maybe she feels that she can get away with attacking you, because of you will be compassionate with her. After all, Skip, you are famous for offering the helping hand to those who are known for their mental deficiencies. NEWT, for instance.

Thanks Otaku.

Goodness often goes unrewarded.

Tissue Skip?

Was replying to otaku, who was referring to your earlier post, which had nothing to do with the topic, just you trying to score brownie points.

Cheers

PS: I am so sorry if I hurt your fragile feelings.

time for you to repeat the mantra skip taught you, mantis
Notice you didn't answer the question about throwing in the "red herring", regarding the world's population, when we are talking about unfair dismissal & maternity leave in Australia.

Not surprised really.

in answer to your statement - population growth is a world wide problem, Mantis.

It is a shame you cannot see past your own nose, and recognise this.

"someone to look after me when i am old" is a poor reason to encourage population growth.

I accept your apology.

It was quite clear you thought Otaku was referring to zero population rather than zero population growth. Just trying to save you from further embarassment. ;)

Again I ask, is the rest of the world's population going to contribute to Australia's finances, to help pay for health & welfare bills in the future?
I ask again - can you think before you post??

I have explained quite clearly that australia should encourage ZPG for environmental and social reasons. If you cannot see this, nor the link between australia and the rest of the world in relation to ZPG then why are you even here?

What happens when Australias population reaches 40 million mantis? (and the rest of the worlds pop. sits at 12 BILLION?)

Do you really think our resources can extend that far? Do you really think that having someone to "pay the bills when i am old" is a good enough reason to propagate like Oryclolagus cuniculus?

Wake up and smell the coffee mantis

PS: the idea that more people = more money is a very simplistic approach to the economic situation as well - maybe you should go off and have a think on that too
