Saw Luke Heggie last night, one of the few funny Australian comedians going around

Dave Hughes was funny when he was a host of The Masked Singer and asked why he always said crazy stupid stuff like guessing the singers were Taylor Swift or Ed Sheeran, etc. He said something like 'well I can't just say oh it's the guy who finished 4th in Australian idol series 5 that nobody cared about every week!'

Actually, now that I think about it, Australian comedians/comediennes are generally unfunny.
I find our atheletes to be more funny

FWIW I noticed Hughsey getting approached in the SC yesterday for photos and stuff. (he was about 5 rows in front of us) He seemed very nice and obliged every request.

It isn't. She pivoted a couple of years ago because she didn't want do self-deprecating gags any more. So now she does... whatever it is you call her thing.

Fifi Box isn't a comedian in all fairness. Totally agree about Creasy
