Gianciracusa (only 3.18% in teams)
Goodwin (7.35% in teams)
Didak (9% in teams)
Macintosh (9.99% in teams)
Dalzeill (4.29% in teams)

where do you get the stats from?

Scratch that - just needed to look one box down.

D Pearce is about the only one below 5% for me i think

They are unique to DT, which I'm pretty certain that is what everyone is talking about.

No shit smart-arse but if you consider over 20,000 other dreamteamers having a player as 'unique' then you must have pretty low expectations.

1-2% is unique.

7-10% is pretty common.

Gia is surprisingly low though, that may change soon.

tyson edwards 1.03% :D:D:D
mundy 2.31%:thumbsd:
montagna 1.15% :D:D
lovett 3.58%:D

very happy with my unique picks
i also only think unique is less than 4% you cant include the 50,000 or so idiots who dono how to play, probably more

My side is filled with generic players, so finding genuine unique players is a challenge. If i restrict percentage to 4%, there are a few notable players.

Butler: 2.47%

Not a good thing i have this mofo. Lets hope he retains his spot in the side.

Gia: 3.18%

Pleasantly surprised.

Otten: 3.72%

My unique players are
Boyd (1.02%) - I am in love with this guy. Last year he got me over the line 4 games in a row. Under-rated.

M. Stokes(3.01%) - Even though he played pretty badly on the weekend, also can pull out big scores

B. Green (0.89%) - Capable, thought he could have an x-factor in some games.

As well as a couple of semi-unique in Simmonds and N.G.B (kinda surprised by that one)

Swallow - 1.39% - we know he gets the ball, just needs to hold his spot.
Houli - 3.18% - don't really need to explain.
O'Bree - 1.14% XD - he will be a gun this year, with no Burns.
C.Cloke - 2.63% - Hopefully with all the attention on the Kruze he will have licence to roam.

Theres a reason why those players are "unique"

I have Boyd (1.02%)
Hargrave (1.54%)
S.Tuck (1.2%)
Pearce (1.78%)
All very unique, and all scored over 100 besides tuck.

Actually all have logic behind the choice. The O'Bree one is a bit sus but i agree especially in regards to Andrew Swallow. Good pick. I was mulling him over and ended up going with the extra cash cow instead of mid range player.

Youre kidding right?

Swallow wasnt even in the 22 selected.

Simmonds (4.65%) - 97
Andy Otten (3.67%) - 69
Matthew Lloyd (2.95%) - 24
Simon Buckley (0.96%) - 55
Daniel Jackson (0.79%) - 32

Total: 277 from 5. Average of 55.4

Moral of the story. Don't pick unique players :). Nah, Simmonds and Otten were good. I expect the rest (all three) to bounce back this week. Especially Lloyd, and i'm hoping Buckley keeps his spot.

No, not kidding at all.

He played and played very well for North. In fact, was one of their best. All he needed was a break. Good player.

What's wrong with nabbing Houli as a back either? He's only 300k and could easily become a premium back this year.

Cloke has a new role and it may in fact improve his value, don't see anything wrong with that logic either.

Just because you mightn't see them as players you would pick, doesn't mean they might not be good pickups for the 09 season. There's always players who pop up and surprise a few and i see nothing wrong with a person looking to take a risk in that regard.

Swallow is hopeless player, I dont even see any North supporters defending him, and they see him week in week out. He continually butchers the ball and has horrible footskills.

I dont understand how you can defend your choice of selecting him when hes not even in the Roos best 22. If he plays 22 games I will be gobsmacked.

Cloke brokeout last year and imo is overpriced if anything. Travis has much more potential.

OBree is probably the only one that will be a solid scorer out of those 4. But then again, if you selected him, he has to be a keeper. Will he average 90 this year? If he does, he could just scrape in as your 6th mid. I want all my mids to average 95+.

Houli, again, is a player that at his price needs to be a keeper. He is probably the only one out of the 4 that I considered, but for an extra 25-35k you can get Birchall or Lockyer who will definitely be keepers and solid scorers. Hes the only one out of the 4 mentioned that could play 22 games and increase ppg by 10+. Then again he didnt impress in round 1, but still could be a stat rat.
