Jobe Watson.

Looking at the scores thread, Joel Selwood seems very unique. Nobody has him, or admits they do :(

Jackson Trengove, not too happy with round 1, took him over Otten (already had Tarrant) was hoping his job security and less chance of being a sub was better. See him as more likely to pull out a 120 than the consistent Otten but would prefer his off week to sit closer to 70. Hope it pays off or may back out.

I've gone pretty unique this season, taken a few punts on players and after round 1 so far so good.

My unique picks are:

Sammy mitchell
Robbie Warnock
Nat Fyfe
Trent Cotchin
Travis Boak
Colin sylvia
Andrejs Everitt- Crapping my pants over this one

It seemed to be my premiums that screwed me this week, Roo, Buddy, goodes etc still pretty happy with a score of 2319 especially with selwood getting koed.

C.Peterson (N.M)3.67% of teams....scored 114 (on my bench)
S.Savage (Haw) 2.28% of teams.....scored 75 (on my bench)
T.Boak (Port) 5.3% of teams..........scored 75
J.Watson (Ess) 10.2% of teams......scored 142

Not a bad overall result I would say. I ended up scoring 2,305 so I am rather happy considering I had Selwood and he only scored 24

Pretty happy with my uniques, it's the others that were duds.

Nathan Jones (only 0.97%!) 119 with a great last quarter
Leuenberger (2.06%? did people get scared by the pre-season twinge?) 89, solid start
Brady Rawlings (2.55% for a unique premium) 115
Lindsay Thomas (2.81%) 64 but 4 goals and plenty of promise. He's only $278,400 so I took a chance that he'll have more brilliant games this year. I don't mind inconsistency as long as the average goes up.

Chris Mayne..something like 2100 people had him. He'll be a consistent ~90 player this year if fit.

I have Liam Jones who scored a huge 28 this week :(, he is owned by 1.02%

Also have:
Mattner - 97 - 1.2%
Ryen Lester - 65 - 2.3%
Mitchel - 122 - 2.99%
Boak - 85 - 5.3%
O'Keffe - 141 - 5.66%

andrew swallow and travis boak both in about 5% of teams.

luke tapscott is in about 15% - not that unique.

marc murphy is in about 8% which suprises me.

daniel cross also under 5%... just about rounds out all my premium mids.

paul duffield about 3%

mark lecras about 13%

brodie smith 4%

My only true unique is Pearce Hanley. In a whopping 0.42% of teams.

Have others like Cross and NDS who are very low for Premiums.

for shits and giggles i've done a team of uniques (all in less than 40k of total teams) and going to keep track of it. if i can be bothered. this may only last a week or two :p

as the season goes on that threshold of 40k may go up as it becomes harder and harder to trade for good scoring unique players. we'll see. if a player in my team goes above the threshold i don't have to trade him out.

i tried not to be influence by round 1 scores and acted how i would have before round one. harry taylor and paddy ryder were in my 50/50 thread so clearly looked at them. jobe watson is in my DT so he was always an option... pederson was picked really through lack of alternate rookie backmen playing round one but in reality i would've had him on the bench as i wasn't expecting him to score much at all. considered robbie tarrant in my proper team. there was very little for me to target in forward rookies so took what i could.... and if i was going off round 1 scores rob warnock, ROK and Ed Curnow would've been picked but being honest i never even looked at them before the season starts.

would have ended up with swallow as captain after having murphy as vice captain on thursday night but not scoring well enough. probably see murphy as the main captain in this team.

If 10% is the cut-off then I only have

Curnow. 3.74% 118 points
Coad. 5.81% DNP
Keeffe (thought he would play rd 1 after the NAB cup .....) 6.6% DNP
Gilbert (little surprising IMO) 8.49% 100 points

If I stretch it out slightly I also have
Atley. 10.04% 39 points
Bartel :)eek::eek::eek:) 10.61% 127 points
Cotchin :)eek::eek::eek:) 10.69% 116 points
Enright :)eek::eek::eek:) 10.8% 125 points.

So there's a bit of value in some of my "uniques", well after rd 1 atleast :D:thumbsu:

Under 10%:

Adcock - 6.10%
Jack - 4.48%
Curnow - 3.74%
Palmer - 2.46%

Jesse O'Brien - 2.99%

Stanley at 10.88%
Bartel at 10.61%
Yarran at 13%
Knights at 15%

Quite a few I guess. I just can't believe Bartel has around 10%; He was my first picked...
