That looks great for basic shape. The only thing I will suggest, is that on the back of the collar, create an inner shadow. Looks great mate

This is basically what it will look like. Stole the shorts from an AFL template just to see how it will look, but I definitely will make my own ones later.

Try making the bottom as wide as it is under the cuffs, but maybe curve it into the body?

The only problem that I see with this is how the top of the jumper is much narrower than the bottom.

That was deliberate. It differentiates it from most other templates while also adding a touch of realism. I based the shape of it on real life photos.

Anyway, with a lot of help from NM Design, here's a progress update of the rugby league template.

I'm going to add as many 2012 and 2013 NRL team's designs as I can before releasing it. I may do some international teams as well as foreign teams. Maybe some union designs as well. Maybe not. I also need to make the shorts a little longer.

Another suggestion, with the stitching on the bottom of the jersey, you have 2 options that you can take to make it look much better.
OPTION A:
Change the shape of the stitching to replicate the shape of the bottom of the jersey using free transform. This is the easiest option.
OPTION B:
Select the bottom of the jersey by using the rectangular marquee tool, copy and paste it. Drag the newly pasted layer down the jersey a little bit (make sure it is still visibly connected to the main part of the jersey). It will make the jersey look longer. Then using the elliptical marquee tool, select and try and get the same curve as the stitching, whilst also having the top of the recently pasted layer selected. Once selected, right click, select inverse, delete, merge down to main base layer. It may appear quite rough, so go over the edges with the eraser tool.

I hope this makes sense and helps.

Inspired by Mero's colour guide from a year or two ago.

Some notes:

• The extra two navy blues under Adelaide are from their logo and 2011/12 clash. The red and yellow may change in 2013 when Puma becomes the manufacturer.
• The brown, cerise and yellow under Brisbane are from the Bears' days. They aren't used anymore but can be used for heritage designs.
• Carlton will discontinue the sky blue from 2013.
• The dark purple under Fremantle is actually slightly navy and appears like so on the merchandise. The lighter purple underneath is used on the logo, artwork etc and is the purple found on previous jumpers. Fremantle don't use the red or green anymore.
• The orange that GWS wear looks different at night time compared to when in the sun. The orange in the guide is what it looks like in the sun, as that is when GWS normally play. I have also thrown silver in, as that is what they used before entering the AFL.
• The orange that GWS players wear in games is different to the orange on ISC replica guernseys that you buy in stores or online. I've chosen the one that is worn during matches.
• Hawthorn's brown may change come 2013 with Adidas, as it was quite maroon when they were with Puma.
• Port Adelaide has used three teals in recent times. The first in the image is an "aqua teal" which will be used from 2013. The one below that is the teal that was used in 1998/1999 and in 2010-12. The "cyan teal" next to that was used from 2000-09. The silver has barely been used and I doubt it will be used again in the future.

So I'm finally using my own template for everything except the designathon (if I enter). I like it tbh. I made the ISC 2013 collar just now, and it's the first collar I've done. I think it's alright.

Sorry, I frorgot who did the paint version of the ISC template for next year, but I tried to change it in very tiny ways. Andf I did the version with side panels (if that happens...it should though) based on that. So here are my updates...

I would have a go at a paint template but I've seen no close up images of the collar and shorts so it would be difficult.
