on a journey through time and space
the question is which one is harder to achieve. naturally off-course
i would think a 15 km run and i'm much more of a weight lifter than i am a runner
Depends what pace but the actual feat of running for 15km isn't terribly difficult
No way, being able to bench press 150kg would be much more difficult.
I would imagine 90% or more of the population would be able to train themselves up to run 15km. However I've been bench pressing for 10 years and the most I've ever benched is 100kg, I would say less than 10% of the population would have the capacity to bench >150kg

Yep, training to do 15kms would take some time no doubt, but bench pressing 150 would take forever to build up to.

i would put myself in your 10% then, but i would think running at a good pace for 15 km's would take me longer to train for. that's all it ever was and hey i guess it's a unpopular opinion

As others have said, running would be easier. Humans have evolved for long distance running, and in the process have lost much of our relative strength. I think chimpanzees are about 10x stronger than us. So we are biologically and physiologically built for running and not weight lifting.
