We got Rosicky done before the last WC. I remember watching him score that awesome goal against the US? and thinking he's going to be good for us.

I really hope he gets some good players in and i am all for him doing it early but surely managers will be like "lets hold out until after the wc and get a bigger fee".
A lot of good teams didn't make the WC as well so, interesting to see if anyone is chased from those teams.

Meh. Some good opponents but I'm really only interested in seeing how we are looking. Thoroughly enjoyed Wilshere's Cup last year and hopefully he can push on during the pre-season and start pushing for selection. He looks nearly ready.
Have you guys forgotten the 06/07 season? Rosicky was brilliant that season, maybe he didn't score 20 goals like Fabs just did but he was pretty decent. As I recall, he was pretty decent in the 07/08 season too.

My brother, his partner and 2 kids live in London. Just got a facebook message from my sister in law.
They are doing well and their son (my nephew) goes to the same school as Alex Song's son and they are apparently best mates. My sister in law is also good friends with his missus. Anyways, apparently Alex Song has given them something to pass on to me for my 30th later in the year! My brother will bring in over in a month's time when he visits. I feel like a little kid waiting for Santa right about now. If this is a hoax, I might cry.
