He's handy out on the wing. Young too. So ticks a couple of boxes. Not sure if they're any links to arsenal as yet
I haven't heard of any links to The Arsenal but he has beautiful close control, has blistering pace WITH THE BALL, can dribble past players at speed, is not intimidated, scores goals and tracks back really well.

He would really make life difficult for oppositions because the thought of Arsenal not ONLY trying to wall-pass through them but also having someone that can dribble past them, would cause uncontrollable sphincter spasms.

He is everything that people thought Walcott would be.

lol interesting analogy (pardon the pun). but yes i've only watched rovers a couple of times this season and hoilett can play. would be a very welcome addition

hopefully the rumors from the argentinian journo through to the belgian media about a potential signing for a london club come to fruition ;)

6.45am kick off tomorrow morning (our time)

van Persie to be rested, not even on the bench (is on a family break in Dubai). Chamakh likely to start (that gives me a shudder)

Don't worry, we have Thierry to do the job off the bench ;)

In all seriousness though, it's good RvP is being rested. You'd hope we have enough quality to overcome Leeds with the side we field.

yes we should account for them nonetheless. henry may start, you never know. and perhaps subbed off on the hour mark fitness depending

last game against leeds, he scored 4 goals lol ;)

djourou suspended so perhaps the coq will switch to right back, and miquel over to left back

Haha, I remember those goals in the compilation.

How did you go with the shirt btw? Was my link useful.

Nicked this off another forum, we should win if this lineup runs out on the park

Almunia

Coquelin - Mertesacker - Koscielny - Miquel

Song - Rosicky

Chamberlain - Arshavin - Benayoun

Henry

link was great mate and the shirt is on the way, thanks again

that's a good line up considering the situation. although almunia in goals makes me nervous! we've loaned out mannone so i guess almunia is the best alternative after the schezzz.

happy for the ox to be unleashed. this is a prime time for him to shine, should play the full 90 minutes and strut his stuff. shame ryo is still injured, he could've made an appearance here too. yossi has shown a lot in recent times and he should create a lot of opportunities

what to make of arshavin? dont know. the rumours of him being sold in january have gone cold. as wenger has said many clubs are caught up in the current economic environment in europe. not sure how the russian clubs are for cash but it appears that perhaps arshavin will stay on. what happened to the bloke who used to run rampant at anfield just a couple of seasons ago!?

Good to hear glen.

Yes Almunia worries me in goal too, if this is the latest in the season it's going to take for him to make one appearance, I'll take it.

I'd like to see the Ox play too, but Wenger has been very picky with him. Maybe Park could start over Chamakh?

surely almunia needs to move on for his sake. he play 2-3 games a season. having said that he probably still earns weekly wages on par with many first teamers which highlights all that is wrong with arsenal.

the defence still looks strong with TV and Kos as centre halves so hopefully almunia wont have much to do. hopefully

and yes Cruyff perhaps will get a game ahead of chamakh. not sure though when he leaves for the african nations cup

Park and Chamakh will both start. Wenger confirmed it during the week.

I think he would be still better than Chamakh :D
I saw Johan Cruyff play for the Washington Diplomats against the Los Angeles Aztecs at the Rose Bowl on the 4th of July, 1980.

He came on half way through the second half with his thigh heavily bandaged from hip to knee and still scored and ran rings around every player on the pitch.

He'd be about 63 now and I'd still pay to see him play!
