12 goals in 12 appearances against leeds....not a bad record ;)

that was scripted perfectly. his pace and explosiveness etc may have subsided due to age, but his finishing is still there.

and that's exactly what we need - finishers. creating chances is not out problem - tonight we missed a ridiculous number. arshavin, ramsey the main culprits. i think we had 14 shots off target. and without RvP, we struggle to find goals

thankfully henry was there tonight, and for the next 2 months

Yeah, I'm rapt to have woken up and found out Henry scored. I want his new top more than ever now.

Typical Henry finish, passed into the net. He still has it. Amazing.

and we've got him for 6 weeks only (wenger said it may be 8)

with finishing class like that, hopefully we can string a number of wins together during that period

what a player. the legend grows

ps, arshavin, ramsey etc owe henry big time. the amount of chances they fluffed was terrible

What a legend. Other players couldn't finish for crap, then this legend comes on and makes it look so easy. What an absolute champion. Sign him up longer Arsene.

Definitely need more signings though, hope people aren't put off too much by this stopgap signing (even though it has already paid off).

when the euphoria subsides (eventually) and we come down from cloud 9, i really hope this point hammers home. yet again we fluff a s***load of glorious chances this game. happens far far too often, its typical of arsenal this season and especially without RvP its becoming quite frightening.

the usual suspects were at it again today, arshavin, ramsey and also chamakh (who maybe only touched the ball 5-6 times in his 67 minutes but still fluffed a header)

and then henry executes with precision in only his like third or fourth touch inside 10 minutes on the pitch. class is permanent

shame we've only got him for 2 months. if he's on the end of our passing, im sure he'll continue to convert them into goals.

and coquelin has done his hamstring. likely out for a couple of weeks. that's all our full backs (and even our stop gaps!) injured, TV, sagna, jenkinson, gibbs, santos, and now the coq.

surely we'll sign a full back at least.

Arshavin actually moves decently enough, can dribble but his shooting/finishing is horrible. I wouldn't mind selling him but we'd need a replacement in his position or in another position. I'd hate to sell him and lose some depth we don't really have that much of anyway.

Hate being negative after seeing the King back in action and doing what he does best but we did waste a lot of chances, another leg would not have helped. Should have beat them 3-0 at least.

And maybe lee dixon can help us out at full back? ;)

Wouldn't mind abidal. He would suit very well if available

The more players with a winning mentality we have at our club, the better. We just don't have enough 'winners' in our squad, and Henry epitomizes the type of mentality we need to be successful
