hopefully so. i think the thought of van persie on international duty is enough to strike fear into us.

did rosicky score? i read the match report and he played the 90 minutes but couldnt see him on the scoresheet. anyway just hope we get all players back fit and injury free for the resumption of the league next weekend

rosicky is an interesting one, could be a darkhorse for us. his best days are obviously behind him, mostly due to some shocking injuries he's suffered in particular that ankle injury that basically kept him out of the game for 18 months. he's struggled the last few seasons and looked a shadow of his former self, to be honest i was surprised he wasn't sold during the summer.

however he has stayed fit and has actually done okay in the games he's played so far. he hasnt set the world on fire or been a match winner etc, but he's been far better than in previous seasons. will likely remain a back up/bench player for us but does bring a lot of experience to the team and is well versed with the arsenal system

in his glory days he was brilliant, a creative and nimble midfielder with explosive pace, and was a standout for the czechs in euro 04 and world cup 06

was actually a hamstring tendon injury, but i agree with everything you said. his days as a wide player are over, but he can still contribute to Arsenal (particularly in the cups), he just has to find the net more often.

wenger reckons gibbs is out for about 5-6 weeks. and jenkinson has a stress fracture in his back, unsure of the length of time he'll be out for.

so likely djourou/kos will continue at right back with sagna still out.

ryo as well has done his ankle and is out for 6 weeks. other than that it appears the squad is fit. norwich at home tomorrow, should hopefully collect the 3 points
