What team do you guys expect in the Carling Cup game? I'm guessing there'll be a few more first-teamers ...

Fabianski
Djourou - Squillaci - Koscielny - Miquel
Coquelin
Benayoun - Diaby
Chamberlain - Chamakh - Gervinho

Maybe something like this with Frimpong/Park/Arshavin also in the mix.
handy line up still....chamakh is the big question mark. what happened to this bloke?! looks disinterested and disengaged at times. if he starts a great chance to put his hand up.

frimpong started the season in our first XI and looked good.

depending on what line up city put out, they could have a field day with squillaci

Can see us resting most of our first team for this (as you will), could be interesting to see how our reserves go against each other.

I reckon we'll go something like:

Pantilimon
Zabaleta K.Toure Savic Kolarov
De Jong Razak Hargreaves
Johnson Suarez
Dzeko

dzeko will run rings around squillaci.

looking forward to seeing ox and park start. frimpong adds some steel into the midfield (just needs to tone it down slightly to avoid unnecessary yellow cards)

change of formation tonight, 4-4-2. park and chamakh starting up front....fabianksi in goal and a young midfield with coquelin, frimpong and the ox on the right. yossi to the left

nasri starts for city

Agh it had to be aguero. Great counter attacking goal I must say. First city shot on goal and they score. Meanwhile we've had a number of chances again and some fine keeping has kept us out.

A gallant effort but now out of the competition. Realistically, this cup was probably out best chance at a trophy season this season. Undone from some clinical work by dzeko/aguero. They're a class above no doubt.

The lack of back up for RvP is scary. Really impressed with ox, frimpong and coquelin in midfield. But again couldn't finish our work up front. Park needs time, and chamakh is not up to it. Will wenger buy in January? Doubt it

Only saw Chamberlin a few times before, thought it was a lot of hype for not much performance.

Very impressed with him tonight though, best player on the pitch IMO. Hope to see more of him in the league soon.

Also impressed with Coquelin, thought Arsenal were probably the better side but undone by some quality by Dzeko, AJ and Aguero.

Enjoyed the game though, and was very impressed by the Gooners performance.

Rumour doing the rounds on Twitter is that Frimpong had a shirt under his jersey saying "Bench", and he showed it to Nasri, and supposedly there was a scuffle in the tunnel. Hilarious if true.

I've heard the rumours on twitter.

But Frimpong has a catchphrase for quite a while "Deeeeeench", that was on his shirt. Not sure what the catchphrase is supposed to mean but that was it.

I'm guessing Nasri has started more games than Frimpong, so Bench might not have been the wisest anyway.

Apparantly Frimpong said something about enjoying his time counting his money on the bench that riled Nasri up
