fabregas,nasri,rvp.
We spent 4 summers of fabregas, will he, won`t he, soap opera, etc etc.I gave up on this bloke years ago as he was always going to move on. All I can say is thank god we cashed in on him after picking him up for diddly squat.
nasri, he was nutured, he sooked, we made his name but we cashed in as we had to. Not the slightest bit upset with these two going.
rvp is another thing all together, i love this bloke, the beauty of him is that we are getting his prime years and that is from a strictly selfish point of view. If he left i would be heart broken, **** the other two mentioned, this bloke is a true Arsenal man:heart:
A true Arsenal man.
Yeah i use to love cesc except the barca soap opera kept both he and the team back from winning anything. And since he has left we have became a team rather than a couple of individuals. Though he love the club and was a very good player who carried the team for all those years after henry left. Anyone remember the game against villa last year where he had been injured the weeks prior and as a result started on the bench and we couldn't get a goal so wenger brought him on and within 20 minutes had 2 goals and on the second got injured. I also understand the reasons for him leaving. Nasri on the other hand deserves to be shot.

Any how this guy will be a gooner for life:

I still like Cesc. He loved the club as much as he could considering the pull to return home and I don't have any hard feelings towards him.

I don't know if you follow any of the arsenal players tweets but cesc as well as our current players who do have twitter all talk to each other and congratulate one another if they had a win. But i never see them talk to nasri though he may not have a twitter.

Also depending on what happens to barca over the next few years with messi and his ego, i wouldn't be surprised to see cesc come back.

There will be a lot of talent in that barca team in a years time. with neymar coming and youth players making the step up and not mention the likes of sanchez having 1 more year of experience under there belt. They will be even better than what they are now which is scary but hopefully UEFA step in with fair play ruling.

I hate Barca btw.

Messi doesn't have an ego. Never heard the guy say anything to talk himself up.

Neymar will go to Real.

Why does villa want to leave again?

Pretty sure real have been sick of neymar not wanting to move away from brazil and therefore have given up on him. And I've read on heaps of forums and sites that neymar is going to barca.

Villa has a broken leg, he won't be going anywhere for a while.

And has he actually come out and said he wants to leave because of Messi's "ego"?

Oh yeah, I forgot everything you read on forums is true :rolleyes:

The guy apparently walks around calling himself god so if that is indeed true which i imagine it is. So if that is not a huge ego i don't know what is.

And we will see regarding neymar. I reckon he will end up at barca you think real. I guess we will soon find out.

"Apparently." It's an unsubstantiated claim. "My friend who is a member on a forum read a post by a guy who knows someone in Spain that is friends Villa's uncle's, third cousin's, sister"

Huge ego, see Cristiano Ronaldo.

Neymar just signed a new contract. Won't be anytime soon.

Messi seems very low key from what I've seen and exactly the type of person I'd want in a team. Even if he does have an ego it's warranted. He's a freak.

It wasn't really his fault.

The media would come out with that talk every summer and for a long time, he'd actually release statements on the club website denying it. He did it about 10 times until that World Cup Summer when the Barca ***** obviously got in his ear.

Anyway, Sky's doc on Cesc this week ...

Disagree about it being warranted. As when you have players like xavi, iniesta, fabregas, puyol, pique and villa in your team, you can't afford to have an ego as these players are the ones who are covering/putting you in so you can get all the acclodes while they go about there business.

Also his not the most important player in there team.
And was villa the one who scored the winning goal in the championship final last year or messi? can't remember.

Keep in mind I'm not saying his does or doesn't have an ego, I'm just going by the claims that the media has made.

I thought the problem with Villa was that he moved from a situation where the team was built around him for a long time to a team that he was just a cog in the team. A similar situation to Henry when he was sold to Barca.

Really? It's really not warranted? The guy is 24 years old for **** sake and will go down as an all time great. He scores for fun and has immense talent, and he has been playing at a superior level since he was 19. You're trying to tell me you'd be completely modest if you were in his shoes?

If there is one thing that Barca need to improve on, it's their play without Messi.

If Xavi doesn't play, Cesc can fill his shoes. It's no biggie.

If he wants to down as the greatest he needs to move away from la liga then. That league is a joke.

And how can say its warranted barca don't need messi. They still be a great side without him. Also when injury free iniesta is the better player, stands up in the big games as well.

If you think Iniesta is better than Messi you have some serious problems. Iniesta is a fantastic player but not in the calibre of Messi.

I don't understand your warranted sentence.

Oh, so CL Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Finals and games against Madrid aren't big games?

why is la liga a joke? arguably the strongest league in the world

La Liga is god damn boring, rather watch Serie A.

Messi is insane, better than Iniesta for sure.

We should win tonight but I think we'll still concede because we are Arsenal, probably from a corner I'm guessing.

I don't get why the 3rd of those games isn't a mid week game? We have QPR on Saturday and then Fulham on Monday. Why not play Fulham on Wed?

Unless the fixture around Christmas has always been like that every year?
