Did we get too big?
Valencia do need to sell. They have FFP issues.
How long can they (or we) afford to drag this out? So frustrating.
That doesn't improve our incompetence then. It just means they are as well.
They have Abdenour to sell don't they? If they sell him I assume under FFP they would be fine.
Would depend on much their over and whether the sale Adbenour could get them back even. But it could work out that the sale of Adbenour isn't enough and they have to sell someone else leaving them with the decision of selling two players or selling Mustafi on his own.
It's in both teams' best interests to get a deal done. We're shithouse at this transfer stuff but Valencia are relative minnows and will let him go for far less than his buyout.

The only reason we weren't the focus all window is in small part because of the Euros/Copa America, but in large part because they had the Pogba to man united saga to talk about every day, which sold a lot more papers than the regular standby of what Arsenal are doing today. With that over, it's back the basics that sell.
