The more I think about the more I want to play them. Aside from the sheer magnitude of the fixtures, if we win it would be a huge ego boost to the squad, but if we lose there is nothing to be ashamed of and we can concentrate on the prem. Seems like a win/win
I'm the same. It would be great.

Ronaldo back at The Emirates, he destroyed us last time in the champions league when at United. Ozil would want to put in a special effort against his old side. Sanchez too would have history against them from his Barca days.

Likewise for Bale.

And the last time we drew 'weaker' opposition was against Monaco, which put the club into a false sense of security. And we all know how that turned out.

Likely same XI as West Ham, but hopefully Lucas on right in place of Walcott.

The rivalry has diminished a bit agains Stoke since Pulis left, but still hope we smash those campaigners. We've done well against them at home but still a massive bogey game when we eventually play the away fixture.
