LOL what a ******* joke penalties are becoming.

Literally just run into defenders with gay abandonment and you're 90% chance to get a penalty

Not the most convincing 1st half, I was worried going into the game as they tend to put in a shit performance after a UCL game, was a pitiful penalty to giveaway by Xhaka, the goal was nice though hopefully they can put another 2 away but I'm far from confident can go either way pretty easy imo

Couldn't be more impressed with the response. As a supporter it didn't feel as doom and gloom after going 1-0 down (compared to usual) and the players showed why. Great recovery and simply sumptuous football from the 35th to 80th minute.

Glad to see Iwobi on the scoresheet again. Walcott hopefully keeps this form going. Has played like a man reborn this season...so far.

Deserved the win based on the 2nd half performance. Be interesting to see how we cope with the likely absence of Mustafi in the next month as I felt Stoke troubled us at times defensively.

5 penalties conceded in the opening 15 league matches - have still won 4 of those matches. Good yet bad.
Yeah the fact we have taken 13/15 points in the 5 games we have conceded penalties is a very positive outcome.

Glad to see another three points on the board and we sit top albeit temporarily.

I hope the Mustafi injury is not serious and he is back within the turnaround time expected, him missing months would be a huge blow.

That's a positive, at least.

Hopefully back by this time next month. Bad time to lose him though with the large congestion of fixtures coming up.
We are going to have to make do without him for about 5 league games I'd say. Everton ( Away), Citeh ( Away), WBA ( Home), Palace ( Home), Bournemouth ( away).
