2 huge results since the City game. Brighton another massive test this weekend. Just gotta keep the pressure up. Do what we can, and hope against all hope City stumble. They probably won't, but hey, if they win 14 straight to end the season they probably deserve the title. (Of course there's the whole financial doping aspect, but that's a post for another day)

Going to SJP, especially after the disappointment of last year, and then the diabolical refereeing in this game, keeping our heads and getting the W is a huge step forward for this club. Proud of these guys no end.

3 games to go.

We beat a strong Newcastle at St. James' Park - an atmosphere up there with Anfield. Kinda tells me that we learn quickly. Next time we're 2-0 up at Anfield might see a different result.

Since City beat us 1-3 at Emirates, we've won 9, drawn 3, lost 1. We haven't bottled shit. City are just very, very good.

I hope next season is a genuine 4 or 5 horse race for the title. The more competitive the teams, the more points ManC potentially lose. Of course - assuming we have another potentially 90pt season.

What a result! I was nervous about this game and thought this match would pretty much seal it for City. To see we won 2-0 is outstanding.

Odegaard is a fine footballer. So glad we have him at our club. He will go down as one of our best, without doubt.

The club has plenty of fight left in it yet, it ain't over til she starts singing.

Even though we won 2 - 0 it looked like they could have got back into the game at anytime. I couldn't get to sleep after it was over. Very important win, obviously, but not just that we won it was the intent. Like that perfect tackle from Xhaka.

Outstanding game from both keepers.

Martinelli exciting again.

Arsenal have 81 points from 35 Premier League games this season (W25 D6 L4). Only in their unbeaten 2003-04 campaign have they ever hit 80-plus points at an earlier stage (33rd game).

In Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard (both 15 goals), Arsenal have had two players score 15-plus goals in a Premier League season for the first time.

Aaron Ramsdale became only the third different goalkeeper to record 10 away clean sheets in Premier League season, after Petr Cech (11 in 2004-05 and 10 in 2008-09) and Ederson (11 in 2018-19 and 10 in 2021-22).

Next season will be interesting.

Man City will be man City

Liverpool u would expect to bounce back

Newcastle will continue what they have started

Man united unfortunately seemed to have got there act together

Tottenham well... Spurs will challenge until a trophy is on offer then fall away 😉

And we must continue to build what we have started.. a couple of smart buys. Get more depth and rotate a bit more.

- The game was very spicy, loved that we dished as much back. That was gold by Nketiah right at the end. Didn't back away despite the shithousery and ******* gave it right back. Take the yellow and * off. Xhaka too played on the edge and thankfully didn't do anything over the top. Like Tomnat said earlier, the ref though. ******* hell. He couldn't handle the temparature and missed a glaring sending off with that tackle on Xhaka and before that how he failed to book Bruno G is ******* laughable. The standards of refeering continue to deteriorate at times.
This. And it's not only football or the Premier League.

Sports umpiring in general seems to be deteriorating. I'm a mad baseball nut, and umpiring in the MLB the last couple of years has just been shit. I think professional umps, particularly older umps, aren't coping well with the extra 'assistance' (i.e., spotlight) that technology is bringing into the game.

Since the formation of The Prem, no other team has kept a clean sheet against an opponent as many times as Arsenal has v Newcastle, which is 30 !

The ref for the Newcs game seemed determined not to give any cards, game came close to boiling over numerous times as newcastle seemed to be doing what they liked in regards to fouling. Credit to Granit Xahka, he was obviously being targeted but kept a cool head. Amazing some of the shit he let go, clearly intimidated by the crowd. Trippier, guimaraes, schar pretty much did what they liked.

El NennY back training.

Huge win at Newcastle, I didn't think we;d win that. We rode our luck in the first 10 mins of each half but it was a seriously impressive controlled performance for the most part.

Hopefully we can get to 90 points and if City have an unexpected blip then we leave ourselves in a position to reap the rewards.

Pep made no subs against Madrid and Everton are coming off a big win over Brighton….a blip is possible!

The flip side to that is we have Brighton up next, and they’d be keen to atone for a poor performance in that hammering from Everton.

Hoping Everton take that belief into this weekend and I’d always earmarked this one as a potential opportunity for Arsenal if Ciry have one eye on the CL second leg next week.

Doubt it though given how deep their squad is and the pressure they’re used to. You just never know what is going to happen however.

Not really significant to be honest. He's well down the pecking order.
Season will be over before he's ready.
He does ok against teams that don't have a strong midfield.

City 1-1 against Madrid is good... They need to keep playing there best team to try and advance... 🤔 Hopefully Madrid take them into extra time and run them ragged.. at this stage we can only hope.
