Pretty sure Saliba has 12 months left. He either signs or we need to sell him. Can't let him walk for free like so many others.

Yes correct. 12 months to go on his current contract. Purchased in 2019 on a 5 year deal. Has spent 3 of them out on loan. One year at Arsenal.

And one year to go.

And of course now City drop points.
Surprised they fielded such a strong line up.

Mentally had nothing to play for though. Not really any different to us on the weekend when we knew we were done. Weird results happen when teams aren’t fully engaged

It would be gutting to lose him, but I hope is he doesn't sign we extract maximum coin for him. Too often our guys walk for minimal fees, while team like Liverpool extract £20m for a guy like Rhian Brewster before he ever plays a first team game. :drunk:

We won't extract maximum coin with 1 year to run anyways sadly.

City might have dropped points but I doubt they do if they really needed to win.

It’s just one of those great unknowns left to ponder. All we could’ve done is take maximum points and take the title race into this last week of the season. Control what we could control etc. They likely win it anyway, was largely inevitable.

To then collapse and they win it without kicking a ball against Chelsea, that still irks me. It is what it is now.

It’s still quite a young team. Only a couple of players have been in that position before. It’s a good learning moment and they’ll be better for it but it’s definitely going to be harder next season.

WE won't. However, City got £45m out of us for Jesus with a year left, and West Ham will take somewhere around £100m for Rice with one year to go.

Unfortunately contract length only impacts sale price when we are the sellers.

Yes the new home kit is fantastic. Not sure how I feel about the away one. This season’s black away kit is going to be hard to top for me, that was sensational. And some very memorable performances in it too.

Last two games, I can see Forest winning and then belting Wolves at home.
Holy ****, ! There’s a shock.

Happy for Xhaka to nail a few more goals in his likely last game for the club.

And City lose to Brentford. One point in the final week. That’s what I was saying all along......ahh well.

I don't think that's an accurate reflection. I don't think it's any coincedence they dropped points once the title was won.

Yes that’s most likely. There’s always a psychological drop off when the title is sewn up, it’s not the same intensity approaching these matches. I always said though for Arsenal to take it to the final week, and how I would’ve loved to have found out.

Huge summer window ahead. Enjoyed Arteta’s words to the fans, a lot emotion involved.

Well, that was a lovely friendly to see out the season.

Ladies and gentlemen, it's been a blast sharing the season with you. A few 'what ifs' but mainly pride and exhilarating joy.

Three months of horse trading and we go again. Already antsy for next season and Champions League football.

Until then, I'm going to enjoy Collingwood follow in Arsenal's footsteps...

I thought the same prior that they’d drop points. They lost to brentford earlier in the season but like Cryuff said, it’s probably due to post title winning attitudes.

Entertaining game like so many during the season.
We are a good team unfortunately city are the world's best team. Humiliated real.
