Unfortunately for Arsenal, Arteta has now confirmed Gabriel suffered a knock which has left him unable to train since.

“Obviously Big Gabi had to leave the pitch with an issue, and he hasn’t been able to train yet, so let’s see how he evolves in the next 24 hours, whether he’s available or not for the weekend,” Arteta told his pre-match press conference.

Outstanding result yet again. Beautiful finish from Eze. Should have had 2-3 really.

Once again the opponents failed to register a shot on target. Arsenal have conceded 1 shot on target in the league in the month of October. Yes ****ing please.

Comparative to last season:

Won at Old Trafford, +2 points
Lost At Anfield, -1
Won at Newcastle, +3
Won v West Ham, +3
Won v Fulham, +2
Won v Palace this morning, +2

That’s an 11 point swing so far, and we’re only 9 games in.

This is ****ing brilliant what Arsenal are doing.

How weird is the table?

Arsenal is the only team going to script. But one look at the table and you're kinda scratching your head. For the first time since 1992, no Liverpool, Chelsea or ManU in the top four at this stage of the season. Bournemouth 2nd, Sunderland 4th... christ, I actually think our next two PL games will be deceptively difficult against Burnely & Sunderland...

We are top of the league and it feels good...
