5 months left on his current contract I believe - a fee around that range would be very smart business. Brighton are an excellent selling club however, they’re very rarely rinsed on a deal.

Brighton had an option to extend for a year and did apparently. Now expires in 2024.

Thank you, didn’t know that and just read up on it. Puts them in a stronger position however nothing insurmountable, Arsenal would have a decent relationship with them from the White transaction 18 months ago.

Seems it’s happening quickly. Hope so.

Trossard done, would be nice to find some DM depth now. With the money not spent on Mudryk, maybe have an early crack at Rice?

Hopefully we are looking for a midfielder. I don't think West Ham would let him leave at this point given they're potentially in a relegation battle.

I wonder what ever happened to Danilo?

Not sure how reliable this is:

Essentially an article saying we have all but tied up a deal for Fresneda. Arteta called him personally as Real Madrid stalled. The question is will he join us now or will he be loaned back to Valladoid.

Edit: Further information suggests that Real have to give permission for him to move. I assume that means they have the first refusal option on him.

If this goes through I wonder what this means for Tomiyasu, or White? I suppose Tomi can be used in any position across the back four and could be our first backup at CB and RB.

Cedric looks like he'll be heading to Fulham. Trossard adds much needed attacking reinforcement. Squad's average age drops again. And Pep Guardiola ramps up the mind games after their win against Spurs.

Like many, I think Trossard gives us so many options. Our front three of Martinelli, Saka and Nketiah, now have ESR and Trossard for relief. And I reckon he can be more useful to us now as opposed to Mudryk. Really happy with this signing. Extremely happy it is 3.5 years too.

Now, three points vs ManU, please.
