He’s 21 years old. Arteta said the players were singing that song in the dressing room haha. And Zinchenko added that after every clean sheet and win, they’ll do it again :D

Also only player this season who has had 25 or more passes in a game with 100% completion rate.

Very impressive start to the season, the team looks to gelling nicely. Fulham and Villa up next so absolutely no reason we can't go 5/5.

Let's all just keep our heads when there is a slip in form

Best thing is clean sheet again
That needs to be a priority
And unlike last year, our back up defenders are more than just squad players. There's real quality on the bench. Tierney and Tomiyasu getting called upon is more reassuring than Cedric and Tavares (even though I like both players). I think another CB would be handy, but not sure that's a priority in the remaining week of the transfer window.

Pepe looks like going to nice... Need to bring in someone to give martinelli/saka a rest... We don't want to burn them out.

šŸ¤” We do have smith-rowe and Viera... And the other young Brazilian who's name I can't think of right now.. so šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

Ornstein has linked us to Pedro Neto in the last hour.

Connecting the dots and I'm pretty confident the deal gets done.

Was fascinated to see who that mystery winger is that Arsenal have been eying. No surprise it’s emerged around the time Pepe is (hopefully) close to finalising his exit for this season.

I like Neto. Going to be expensive it appears, however the club showed in the Raphinha pursuit that there are resources there and available for the right player who meets the criteria.

I wonder how we'd fit in a player of Neto's calibre.

We'd have Martinelli, ESR, Saka and Neto(?). Plus Vieira played wide right for the U21's the other day.

ESR and Vieira could potentially cover for Odegaard, and Martinelli (or ESR?) may be able to cover for Jesus and Nketiah.

But realistically that's five players for two positions.

5 subs this season makes a huge difference. There’s going to be plenty of opportunities and minutes to play.

Arsenal and Arteta learned some harsh lessons last season, Arteta essentially chose to go with the same XI from January onwards (plus Holding off the bench) in the hope that could see through a top 4 challenge. It didn’t work. Not everyone stays fit at all the same time, and injuries/absences can and will happen.

The strength and depth of squad being built now I believe is a reflection of that.

I have mentioned this before many times as well, the club has a duty of care to guys like Saka, having seen what all those minutes with little respite has done to Bellerin and Wilshere as teenagers before him. This is an excellent sign with the Neto move.

So... What do we all think of our owners now lol... šŸ¤” Not that I want to spend Willy Nilly... But it's nice getting the players we want/need.

The owners have never been the issue. It's always been a cop-out from the fans that continually blame the woes on the owners.

We've been in the same situation as the Glazers at United. United have net spent (after sales recovering losses) £900m on players over just the last 10 years. That puts them above City (£826.6M) PSG (£790.4M) and Barcelona (£546M). Arsenal sit 5th with £489.7 (£864.4M with £374.6M recovered on sales) over the last 10 years.

The owners have allowed money to be spent, the difference is that the people responsible for spending it have ****ed it up.

Clubs need depth, especially if you want to challenge on all fronts.

We have the EL too so that will allow more opportunity for others to play too.
