You wonderful, wonderful man!

'Twas an ugly win, but 3 points is 3 points. Very nice to keep a clean sheet, Woj made some fantastic saves. That red was laughable.

Flamini out for 3 weeks according to reports. Not good, given our run of games coming up.

Saw this earlier and thought it was a laugh. Particularly liked #10 :p

Very very well put together, had me chuckling throughout :D

That Dench reference almost made me spit out my water laughing. So true.

Interesting game last night. Thought we actually played better when we went down to 10 men because Palace were throwing men forward and left them exposed to our devastating counter attacks.

There is a real chemistry about this group - the way they all rallied together when down to 10 men was pretty impressive.

Complete BS that red card, Chamakh simply collided into Arteta and their legs got tangled. I guess it's lucky that he only has a 1 match ban as I doubt he would have played in the league cup anyway.

I'm guessing we're going to line up like this:

Fabianski
Jenkinson Kos/Mert Verm Nacho
Rosicky Wilshere
Gnabry Eisfeld Ryo
Bendtner

Crystal Palace were getting stuck in physically, playing well and having a real crack. The sort of game in years gone by that Arsenal would have folded in. Very impressive result and for once Ozil was not relied upon. If we get one point next week I will be over the moon. Can't see Arsenal finishing outside top 2 as it stands.

Will be an interesting game. Can see the likes of Ozil and Ramsey cutting through your defence quite often but in doing so will lead to us being exposed at the back where Suarez and Sturridge can do plenty of damage. Should make for a good game.

If you cast 5-4-3-2-1 votes for every league game so far based on WhoScored.com ratings, top 5 ...

Ramsey 30
Giroud 25
Ozil 16
Szczesny 10
Sagna 9

Today's game ...

Sagna 5
Ramsey 4
Szczesny 3
Mertesacker 2
Gibbs 1

Giroud was massive, sure he didn't hit all his passes but with his goal he was certainly in Arsenals top 5 players on the pitch.

Also when he looked down the barrel of the camera and said "come on" to the millions of Gooners watching world wide, that was pretty special.

His header was sick.
It was well timed, but not that impressive really. Went within a foot of the goalie, lucky not to be saved. At least it was on target, unlike his other one at that end at the near post.

The pass from Ramsey is the part of the goal that should be praised. Perfect ball in, not a bullet pass, just perfectly weighted. Knew what he was doing. On that note, Sagna has been doing very well this season getting forward and providing good crosses in. He is providing the width we need, especially since we don't have any natural wingers (bar Gnabry) fit right now.

Yes Sagna's crossing has mostly gone unmentioned this season, would have a few assists to his name if Giroud and others had buried some of the chances given. Ramsey's little cross yesterday was perfect, Giroud didn't really have to break stride from his 20 metre sprint. Clinical stuff.

Sagna has turned back the clock. Been immense this season.

Would even consider playing Dench Wednesday morning. Bendtner, Gnabry, Ryo, Eisfeld, TV, Fabiankski, Nacho and Jenko should hopefully get 90 minutes under their belt.

how confident are you guys bout the game this week?

Liverpool will score I believe. SAS in brilliant form. Aside from Palace last night, we haven't been great in keeping clean sheets. It's the other end of the pitch where we should hopefully cause some problems. Ozil, Ramsey and Cazorla linking with Giroud can be very hard to contain.

Flamini's injury is quite a blow. Never thought I would say that at the start of the season when we signed him on a free.

I think both sides will be equally worried about the offensive threat posed by the other. Suarez, Sturridge, Ozil & Ramsey are probably the 4 most in form players in the league at the moment. I'd bet on a 2-2 draw or a 3-2 win either way, it should be a very entertaining game.

The lube's at the ready, if it doesn't work out it's only coz you didn't perform when it mattered

Arsenal should be winning this

On ability yes but unlike you guys we are playing 180 minutes a week whereas Liverpool are playing 90. Though our players should get a rest mid-week, so we should be fresh which will make it a very good contest.
