We will either get someone big in which is unlikely or get someone on loan who can do the job for half the season. Wenger won't purchase someone for the sake of having an extra option.

If we drew up a list I think the following names would be on it:

1. Costa
2. Lewandowski
3. Balotelli
4. Benzema
5. Suarez
6. Pato
7. Benteke

And would be looking at someone like Llorente on loan deal if none of the above eventuated which would likely be the case.

For the DM position I would go after Fernando Reges who has 6 months left on his contract and is similar to Fernandinho. Then over the off-season transfer period looking at a B2B say Khedira who isn't very happy at Madrid at the moment.

As good as Balo is, wouldn't want him. Too much of a disruptive figure in the dressing room. And he is an absolute nut off the pitch.

Don't think Lew is plausible, although, it'd be great if we signed him.

Pato is meh, he is back in Brazil at 23 for a reason.

Benteke, yes please. But very similar to Giroud.

Your comment before about LFC fans expecting us to win because we are lfc is just dumb.
None of us expected to beat AFC, don't know why you would make such a comment.

i think the club did. alot of talk this week from Gerrard and rogers about just how big LFC is and SAS. its offensive to say that for suarez there is no club bigger than LFC. there is. including the one you played last night. the order has been restored with last nights win and hopefully this will further open Suarez' eyes that he is wasting himself there.

interesting stat last night that LFC have now won 2 out of last 13 fixtures against arsenal....

Rodgers himself has said repeatedly that it would be a very tough game and we'd be looking to nick it if we can, but don't let facts get in the way of your delusions

Honestly, if you get offended by Suarez saying that then you need to grow up. Players say that all the time. And btw, debating the sizes of the club is a dumb thing to do, coz however bad we've been in recent years, we have still won more trophies than you have. A good 10 league games and suddenly you are ripping your clothes off?

Lastly, who the **** are you, and why have you suddenly pop up to make yourself sound like a w***er? There are mostly reasonable Gunner fans here and you just disgraced all of them by talking like an utter idiot

I would say a good 20 league games, 8 2 0 in final 10 last year, 8 1 1 first 10 this year, so 16 3 1 in 20 games... But yes have not won anything yet ( lid on)

Ignore him, typical smugness you'd expect from a West Coast fan.
