Sturt FC, Arsenal FC,
He's been magnificent for us this season no doubt, but you need to sustain that level for a significant period of time before you can claim to be in the world class category. He's still prone to a couple of brain fade moments, but hopefully that's all behind him now.

Haha, I said that in my last post.

But yeah, our team looks more balanced and settled than it has been in recent seasons. Let's hope it continues.

So, Napoli tomorrow morning. It all comes down to this.

It's important we approach this with the mentality to win. We can't get caught into the trap of thinking "it's okay if we lose but as long as its not be 3 goals". Just look at the second legs of our recent champions league seasons for some prime examples.

Milan had a comfortable lead after the first leg, so did Bayern. They were too comfortable in their approach and mentality for the second leg and both times we hit back to almost pinch it.

Yes there's a massive game vs City on the weekend but we must also put out a strong line up here and ensure we get the job done. An early goal for us would be brilliant to steady the ship and steer us through. Top spot in this group would be a fantastic outcome.

His season thus far has been outstanding. Hope he keeps it up, including having a good WC.

On that note, would he be a starting CB for France?
Yes you'd think he's a starting centre half for France. Would probably want to stop giving away needless penalties and getting himself sent off for slapping an opposition player's face though.

I was just looking at their previous few squads, he is facing some serious competition. Guys like Sakho and Varane would probably be pushing him, as well as Abidal now he has moved to CB.

He started as the first choice CB for France in the recent WC qualifier against Ukraine only for him to be needlessly sent off after a brain fade. You would expect he starts at the WC though for France.

Very strong line up, Ramsey's turn to have a breather. We're doing well to hold the ball so far, and have sucked in Napoli many times to comit silly fouls.

A goal for us here should kills this off hopefully.

Meanwhile it's 1-1 in marseille.

Strange game. Lucky they didn't get their first goal earlier.

Oh and the ground announcer, please STFU when players score. Once or twice is enough.

If they'd scored in the first half, could've been all over for us. We didn't really threaten, bit this was a game of containment for us. We had top spot in our sights but hey am very happy to progress at least from a very tough group.

******* sick of having big game after big game. Much easier when you play a big game then play another two or three weeks later.

Arsenal fixtures in March/April: Swansea HOME Champions League 2nd leg AWAY Spurs AWAY Chelsea AWAY Man City HOME Everton AWAY

Take the progress. Maybe we can lure Suarez for the knockout phases when the window opens.

I would take Barca before Bayern. Its a worry when the best case scenario for us is Atletico.

**** it. Doesn't really matter as we who we draw, i'd prefer one of the big guns and test where we are really at rather than just making up the numbers.

Also annoyed that we keep getting blocks of hard games in a row in the league. A little rest would be nice.

I think we'll lose to both City and Chelsea, then the media will declare "Arsenal in crisis" again.

Why would we lose to both though. Arsenal have been better than both and we are much better defensively then City or Chelsea.
Because City are a different beast at home and our record against Moan's Chelsea is not good.

I'd be satisfied with 2 draws from both games.

The record against Mourinho is from what 5 years a go.
City are very good at home but Arsenal are the best travelling team in the league.
