Wilshere also has 2 Champions League goals dont know about Rosicky.

I like Rosicky from a defensive point of view. But the way the team is playing we need more creative players. The team is playing like the end of last season again.
That's the side of his game that's probably been his strongest this season so far. Quite a tenacious presence in midfield. Chases hard and closes gaps. Its probably cost him offensively though.

And yes Benno Santi should be number 10 if Ozil isn't. Not sure why that didn't happen. Even when Cazorla starts on the left, he drifts inward as he pleases.

Don't know about you guys but i think we seriously need to buy another wide attacking player. One that can work in close spaces and stand up defenders then beat them on the dribble.

As much as Walcott is great when he can burst in behind a high line and use his pace, he is next to useless when he is up against a deep line.

Jeremy Menez wouldn't be a bad option, have rated since he was at Roma.

Or Mathieu Valbuena and Florian Thauvin were very impressive against us for OM.

Or even Hatem Ben Arfa if Newcastle will sell.

Ox wouldn't be a first XI player though if all others are fit. ie, he'd be behind Theo, Santi, and possibly Podolski, Rosicky for starting options.

Rosicky's body just cant endure a 50 - 55 game season. Looks like the plan is to utilise him in every alternate game, and if he performs like he did this morning, then that would be ideal.
He's a depth player, a good quality and experienced hand who has completely bought into Arsenal that can fill in when required. We lacked creativity because we were missing our two most creative players, Ozil and Ramsey last night - Rossicky is never going to 1 for 1 cover for them, even if his attacking game had been better than his defensive game this year.

So don't blame Tomas, look to Jack, Santi and Mikel for our creativity being down. Jack is the one who needs to step up and take control of the midfield with Ozil injured.

Better then the players Shoei listed.

We have been linked to Paul Georges Ntep who is a player in that mould, though he is not proven and currently in the french second division. His game does look like it has a lot of potential.

Jeremy Menez unproven? 20 odd caps for France and plays for PSG......

I'd love to see us spend another 60-70 million on the best young germans but it aint going to happen.

He'd be immense. But it's probably just media bs linking him with us because our number of German footballers.

Nope. Arsene clearly wants Draxler it's just a matter of whether spending 45m on him is worth it when we need to buy in other areas. I suspect that Arsene will make Draxler his number target having missed out on Ronaldo he won't want to miss out on Draxler.

Fabulous win.

Top game from Wilshere; no whinging or carrying on like a school kid, didn't give the ball away and worked extremely hard.

Mertesacker and Giroud are fatigued big time and I hope they have come through the game unscathed because injuries occur readily when your knackered.

Cazorla is a central midfield/#10 player and should not be played anywhere else although he tries very hard in a position which he really struggles in but his commitment can't be disputed.

Koscielny is a star.

The reason the ball is played back to the 'keeper is because it's part of the game and if 'keepers can't deal with that, then they shouldn't be in the team, let alone bowling over their own team mates in the penalty area when everything is under control, taking your eye off the ball when challenged strongly and fairly by an opponent in a high aerial dual and falling to the ground like some poofy midfielder looking for a free kick not to mention hyperventilating like a frightened child when the pressure is on.

All in all, a fabulous away win against a mid table side.
