Lord Bendtner to score 5

But in all seriousness will be a fascinating game. We should pull through though with the BFG and Koscielny blanketing the Cardiff attack.

2-0 Arsenal

Looks like i got the result right, but gee it was a tough game.

Luckily we had Lord Bendtner to save us. If he didn't get injured he would have scored 4 more

Very frustrating game. The goal was always on the cards but geez we left it late.

Scratchy first half but Rosicky made a difference and credit to Bentdner for his positioning. Shame he got injured. Again it looks serious and he'll be out for a number of weeks.

Not sure when Giroud is back. Ozil will struggle for this weekend as well.

Walcott on fire of late, what a welcome return he's been. Wilshere probably with his best game of the season, interesting that he was deployed in the number 10 role again ahead of Santi. Might see the same vs Spurs.

May struggle to put a good side out against the scum. Lasty thing we want is a replay though, so hopefully we get the job done.

On last night, i only watched the second half, and you have to win ugly some times, and in the past we would have drawn or lost that game. I thought Jack and Theo were great and Bendtner was hungry when he came on.

It has been a very tough schedule starting from Napoli loss away, so to come out of xmas and new years on top is very satisfying, particularly after the Man City and Chelsea results. Credit must be given for picking up 9 points against West Ham, Newcastle and Cardiff. You would mark them all down but still need to get the job done.

As for the next couple of months, its clear we need some re-inforcement up front. You read all sorts of tripe, but for success this season, i believe we need someone proven in the premier league or someone we are confident can be an instant success. We cannot afford to have someone come in and need 6 months to settle.

Reading the rumours you hear the following names:

- Morata - too young too raw and no experience in the Prem League. Great talent though.
- Berbatov - lazy character, but has class and could fill a need for 6 months. Would be cheap.
- Costa - i have not see enough and it is clear he is a goalscorer. If the price is right, i think could be a good get.
- Suarez - Wont happen, but damn had we got him in the summer we would be top by much more.
- Remy - prem league proven, not sure if available with his loan situation.
- Draxler - absolutel top drawer talent, but not a striker.

Make of that what you will, but id take berbatov for 6 months or if we could afford costa, i would do that too.

Cardiff made us work for it but we deserved the 3 points.

Personally I would have started Bendtner. Playing a similar style to Giroud as soon as he came on we looked a different team. Mertesaker and Koscielny were very good again. On current form there is every chance they could be the team of the year centre backs.

Would be a great get, think he would adapt the prem quickly ala Negredo, don't see him leaving in Jan though and will be the subject of many clubs interest at the end of the season.

Don't see anything other than a loan striker signing in Jan, Morata the most likely although I think he would be cup tied for the UCL. At the end of the season Suarez to Madrid and Benzema to Arsenal would be a nice outcome.

I believe the Morata rumours were dismissed recently, even by the player himself. And after selling Higuain, Madrid don't really have a back up to Benzema. So its very unlikely they'll allow Morata to move away on loan.

Costa and Draxler would come at a very high price, in particular Costa who has only spent 6 months there so far. Both fantastic footballers though. Very unlikely.

Berbatov would still have something to offer. Unsure of availability though. As for Remy, decent player but cannot see Wenger going anywhere near him.

No more forward outs for Madrid until they have Suarez.

Berbatov is past it, and his style of play doesn't suit anything we're doing at the moment - he can't play wide left and isn't a target man, no place for him in our system.

Bendtner is probably our most 'like for like' alternative to Giroud in our system, in that he can hold a ball up and link better with the wingers than say a Podolski or Walcott can. With him injured now, very interesting to see what Wenger does and even what impact Bendtner's injury has on any other clubs he may have been lining up.

I wish some of our players pulled the trigger when they had the opportunity and space from range, at times (until the Bendtner sub) it felt like we were trying to pass the ball into the net. It was a wet day and the ball was skidding off the ground at pace, much tougher for the goalkeeper in those situations but we never really tested him from ~18 yards.

How fvcking good was that lads?? Gloriously taken goals.

Fabiankski also did some nice things in goals. Gnabry is a talent.

Clinical cruyffy. Could've had a couple more as well if the finishing was as good as Santi's and Tomas'.

Only downside was Theo's knee injury. Wenger confirmed Bentdner is out for a month, but unsure yet of the severity of Walcott. Giroud will play our next game at least, but the back up options are becoming less and less.

Did enjoy Theo's interaction with the spurs fans as he was coming off.

I woke up to watch it but decided sleep was more important :D

Saw Santi win a free kick near the edge of the box, don't remember anything after that though.

Giroud had the flu, so he should be well rested by the time our next game rolls around. Really need a CF, even it's one on loan.
