Ramsey/Jack was our worst CM combination last season.

Still wondering where Wilshere's best position is. Some say it's in the number 10 position. Either way, he's got a few ahead of him in the pecking order.
Let's face it, we don't need him.

We could sell him for 30+ mil solely because he's English and invest elsewhere. But the English Arsenal fans would go nuts if that ever happens - he is their golden boy.

Apparently Flamini, Scez and Gibbs were almost sent home from the US tour for swapping Wengers coffee with gravy....

Fellas what are your realistic expectations for the Current Season? With our squad atm id say a finish of 3-5 is likely, sign another CB & GK plus a starting CDM to partner Rambo and we could really push the top 2.

We well and truly spent more time on top of the table last season than any other side. With the transfers in we've had so far (and hopefully more to come, like a decent backup GK) there's no reason why we can't set our sights on the trophy. Just need a decent run with injuries. If we don't better last season's position, I'd say we've probably wasted the season. Even another FA Cup win mightn't be enough to satisfy, if we fail to qualify for the CL in the process.

The list as is should be winning the title, or at the very least still be in the race during the last 3 games of the season with a good injury run. We were top of the injury charts at the end of the season by a huge margin and were only 7 points back at the final whistle.

Now we've strengthened, and while we can't cover large injury losses like Chelsea and City can with their super $$$ squads, our first 16 should be good enough.

With the inclusion of a quality DM and decent run of injuries, we really should be pushing for the top 2.

But our form against the top teams must improve. Cannot keep giving them 4-6 points a season and then rely upon beating up on the lower teams.

A more spread out schedule should also help this season, and not having to play the likes of Chelsea, City etc in consecutive games like March where it all fell away for us.
