Why does it have to be one or the other?

Why can't it be all of them?
nail on head benno.

good to see Giroud get a couple Mannone should never had let that 2nd one in and should of owned the 1st too
first time in a long time we've had a genuine aerial threat. giroud will get better and better if he keeps getting service like that. mannone nowhere for the 2nd goal. dont know what the hell he was doing.

I remember us closing a 10-12 pt gap a few seasons back before collapsing again.
Yeah true, it all turned to shit in that away game to Birmingham. Eduardo's leg shattered, Clichy losing the plot in the last minute giving away that ridiculous penalty, then gallas losing his shit and having an epic meltdown.

Almunia in goal and Gallas in the #10 shirt LOL
almunia actually kept lehmann on the bench can you believe

I miss Cesc. :(

We may have never won much with him but we were always thereabouts up until the late season collapse.
yeah he was brilliant. there was only so much he could do for us, unfortunately our usual end of season collapses also coincided with his hamstring issues. we never really had a full season of a fit and firing cesc plus RvP, who knows what could have happened.

wow, what i'd give for any one of these blokes in our current team now. hell even ca$hley cole (despite how much i despise him, the bloke has been world class for a decade).

what a team:

-------lehmann
lauren toure campbell cole
ljungberg gilberto vieria pires
----bergkamp henry

hole sh*t!

pretty handy bench to have as well if we needed to mix things up/cover injuries....ray parlour, edu, wiltord, kanu, keown, jose reyes....

just slightly better than our bench last week of szcezcny, chamakh, ramsey, arshavin and santos....
