Nani apparently linked with us.

I'm just hoping Wenger actually acts on interest and buys some world class players.

Very difficult to believe that was actually wenger
Hey man, I think people ought to give Wenger a whole lot more credit.

It's really easy to sit around and criticise a coach/manager but unless one has actually been in a position where every single decision one makes has a critical outcome and has profound implications on the organisation they lead, then one has absolutely no understanding or appreciation of what the occupation entails.

The media articles, the 30 second grabs, the 2 minute post match interviews and the manipulation of them by vested interest to sensationalise and/or create particular perceptions makes the job of "managing" your club/organisation so much harder. It is not helped by the "Goebbeling" effect, that is, when an untruth, distortion, lie is repeated over and over and over again and people begin to accept it as the truth with no research or exploration of the statement.

I enjoyed reading Wenger's thoughts about players and could not argue with any of his critiques.

I also am particularly pleased that by publishing Wenger's "revelations", people may start to get some idea of what managing not just players, but their agents, other clubs, scenarios etc. etc., people may start to appreciate the fact that it is not just a matter of throwing money around and that managers, in this case Wenger, are somehow stupid. I hope people appreciate that a manager can't always get the players they want nor be able to run a club sustainably in the long term if they just throw wads of dough at players and their parasitic agents.

Not really bullshit, as it all "could" happen. Obviously a CaughtOffside article citing Goal should never be relied upon, but looking at the suggested ins and outs, all might happen. I for one, think that Diame makes a whole lot of sense in signing, proving himself in the PL this season and he's just what he needs - then, he injures himself for 12 weeks. Still, I'd like him. Henry is all but done if you believe the Gooners on Twitter. Pepe Reina seems unlikely, and he'd come at quite a premium. The Zaha rumours have been around for ages, and when there's smoke, sometimes there's fire in the world of football. I'm not so keen on the signing on Zaha given the plethora of wingers we seem to have (either first-team or upcoming). Adrian would be somewhat costly, but from what I've seen (not much admittedly), he seems alright and I think we need to have another option up front.

Then for the outs, well I think it's no real revelation that Squillaci, Chamakh, Arshavin and Fabianski will all be on their way out in the next two windows. All are practically doing nothing. Frimpong was a bit of a surprise, but I can't really see him making the ones, plus I'm not the biggest fan of his attitude and social media antics.

I know I'm a classic Gooner who loves to dream about the potential signings, but we need depth and a DM in this January window, and all rumoured players would fit the bill and all seem Wenger-esque signings.

I know he's got an economics degree but it's a bit inappropriate that Wenger works in our accounts department, he certainly seems to think he knows about how much we pay our players. Tevez and Yaya are our highest paid (maybe Aguero has joined them), and the club have confirmed that if we win every competition we enter, and they earn all the bonuses they could possibly get Yaya still wouldn't get £200k a week.

Interesting read anyway.

Don't think there's any chance of Wenger working in your accounts department. He'd be outraged at the 300,000 quid City blow every day running the club.

Diame only out for three weeks. For 3.5 million he would be a bargain and would compliment Arteta perfectly. Diame would be the one to apply pressure on the opposition while Arteta would be the one to stay back and intercept passes like he was doing before Diaby got injured. Diame can also dribble past the opposition like Diaby and has shown this season that he can score goals. If we buy a striker for less then 10 million then I want Demba ba who is a better option then Hunterlear. The other player I would target is M'wiba who did recently resign with Montpellier but I think he will still be available and the only reason he did resign was to get Montpellier the best deal possible instead of him leaving on a free in the summer.

I know, that could buy us Andy Carroll for 116 days.

Let's get Usmanov already, I'm sick of being self-sufficient. This is the Arsenal Football Club and we just lost to a League 2 side with most of our starting XI on the pitch. It is unacceptable, someone needs to be held accountable.
Well it's definitely not Wenger's fault if you read some things people post on here.....

Haha what crap, he's the manager - it has to be his fault. He signs the players, chooses them, tactics etc etc. I really think he has to go, he's been great but this is becoming a common occurrence. Give someone else a chance, we need someone fresh.

This isn't a time to laugh. We just lost to a League 2 side.

Gazidis should be blamed... Doesn't let Wenger splash out enough, advocated the sale of RvP to the scum.. and is considering selling Walcott.
