Yes, because you know how old I am.

Running a football club and managing it are two different things. Club hasn't been the same since David Dein left. And when was the last time he was linked with one of those clubs?

lol, alright mate, whatever you say. We have not won a game with Ramsey or Gervinho starting.

LOL so selling van Persie was the right decision? Jesus you're daft. Vermaelen shouldn't have been named captain either, and the way the club has gone about Walcott's contract has been a farce too. The lack of depth the squad has is a joke too. Song not being replaced, lack of depth up front, lack of depth at left back and the problems with our goalkeepers. Do you want me to keep going?

He has been linked after the Bradford loss, when rumours spread around the footballing world of his possible sacking.

Gervinho is a shitcvnt, we all know that. No brainer really. Ramsey starting a negative? I don't think so.

I never said it was the right decision to sell Robin. Selling him to the scum wasn't a good idea at all.

Vermaelen is a leader, he's had a scratchy few moments as captain. We aren't all perfect, he hasn't cost us games through being a 'shit captain'. Walcott wanted 100,000 pounds a week. Ivan/Arsene agreed, but needed proof he could make a difference in a CF role. A deal should fall through in the next week you'd think.

No, I don't want you to keep going. You're a broken record mate.

We are undefeated in the EPL when Ramsey and Gervinho don't start. This is exactly what I mean, you refuse to accept facts and blindly sweep things aside when it's convenient for you to back up your points. Rather than accepting things, anything said negative about the club is seen as being a shit fan.

If a deal "falls through" it means it won't go ahead.

Let's wait another seven years for a trophy while the club goes through some more rebuilding phases guys!

I like Ramsey, every arsenal supporter would want him to do well given what happened 2 years ago. But he's not good enough to start, and certainly not a 'gun'. Partly wenger's fault for playing him out of position consistently. I mean Ramsey on a flank, seriously?

I accept the facts.. I just move on, don't let it get to my belief in the club like you do.

No, it means they'll re-negotiate.

T'will be much sooner than that mate. You'll probably disappear from this site once we win a trophy, not having anything to comment about.

Battle on Cruyff. Battle on.

You clearly don't based on what you say.

No, if a deal "falls through" it means terms could not be agreed upon. https://www.google.com.au/#hl=en&tb...a51af1112b196c&bpcl=40096503&biw=1920&bih=898

I hope you're right, but with the way the clubs run, I can't see it. Happy with fourth placed finishes, selling the clubs biggest assets for a profit and so on.

Sorry Hand, but I believe you are talking shit sir.

Yeah I understand the whole overspending shit is an issue that may arise if we were to go out and splash the cash on some star players who may end up being duds, but how are we gonna get a profit once we're a mid table club. I love this club and I appreciate what Arsene has done for the club, but he's a stubborn old fool. His pride gets in the way, then we end up with players like Diaby and Denilson, just clogging the list and taking up room to improve the wages of people like Walcott. We need a massive clear out, I will believe we're actually serious about improving as a club once we ****ing get rid of some of the deadwood at the club.

Ramsey is no gun, he's decent but he should not be starting. The guy needs to go out on loan somewhere, would be more beneficial. Another issue is all we seem to do is recycle. Wenger has a great eye for talent, thats no doubt, but you spend all your time and money into developing this player then you let him go because of wage budget issues or we lack ambition. I don't blame RvP for leaving, we just think that 4th is a trophy. As good as it is to get revenue for qualifying for the CL, but at the same time the club is just settling for mediocrity. Before I say this I will mention, I won't ever stop supporting Arsenal, but sadly there are a lot of flimsy sort of fans out there, who will end up turning on the club and jump on another one. You may argue we don't need them, but every club has them.

Look at Man Utd, I actually don't think their squad is that fantastic, but look at how much they compete. They are so damn passionate, the heads don't drop and they ALWAYS find a way to win. They may be a campaigner of a club, but they have some excellent ambition and passion. Wenger just seems to go through the motions, sell our star players then buy a good player who will eventually leave anyway. I realize that we had some fatigue issues going on around the time of the last CL group game, but he's done it in previous years where we were primed for 1st, then lose the last game and end up having to face a tougher club.

It's time to face facts, we have some decent players but we need to get rid of a lot of deadwood and make some serious signings. I think then, and only then, it will signal intent to the players that we want to succeed, and to the rest of the competition we're not going through the motions anymore, we want a trophy. True fans don't just turn a blind eye to whats going on, and I think Cruyff has just become impatient like the rest of us that things need to happen. Takes more passion to want more from a team that has so much promise, than to live in denial and not accept the reality of the situation. The board needs to stop let Wenger controlling so many aspects of the club, if I was an outsider and was told what Wenger does for the club, I'd think he was the owner instead of the manager.

Wenger is finished anyway. We need someone fresh.

You blokes do need to realise that the club is heading in the right direction, and are intent on cleaning out the shit. Get back to me after the January transfer window.

As for passion, I feel as much anger about the situation as you pessimists. It's just that I can actually understand the direction the club is moving in since August 2011, when we lost our 3 best players and got destroyed by ManUtd. It's evident that you two don't.

I'm a realist, believe me. I just don't feel there is any use complaining about the club's wrong doings as much as Cruyff does.

How are they intent on cleaning out the shit? We've had Chamakh sitting round for two years now doing nothing, we signed Park Chu Young who racked up a massive seven minutes of EPL football last season who is probably on 50k a week. There is Denilson who has been on loan for the past two seasons because nobody wants to buy him because he is on too much, same goes for Squilacci.

What direction are we moving in? Don't understand that the only reason Wenger went out and brought Santos (LOL), Arteta and Per was because of the 8-2 drubbing?

You say you're a realist, you don't really show it.

Most supporters are critical of the results and the fact we've had to sell so many of our best players. Every fan wants more from this club, but slagging the club, manager and players off at every opportunity with the vitriol a spurs fan would be in awe of is pathetic.

Wenger didnt sell Van Persie it was a board decision just like Nasri was. The board is not going to take a £20+m hit on a player. Wenger had a part in Cesc and Song leaving though both got Barca syndrome.

And it surprises me how many Arsenal fans think that Vermaelen wasn't the right choice for the captaincy. Verm was the captain of Ajax before he left to come here and was our Vice-Captain last year. He would also have been the captain of Belgium had he not spent the 10/11 season out injured, prior to getting injured he was the most likely choice to be their captain but in the time he spent out injured Kompany stepped up his game and was given the captaincy. Other then Sagna,Diaby and Jack(doesnt count) he has been around the club the longest and as such knows the club best.

Look Cruyff, I'm not going to argue with you any more. You hardly seem to read what I say and take it into account like you should. Then you go on about how I'm apparently in denial about Arsenal, and I don't realise their lack of hunger for success. (Which is wrong).

Your comments are quite hypocritical, and I don't give a flying heck about what you have to say about Arsenal. Good day.

I read everything you say and I reply accordingly. I rebut it with my arguments.

I'll concur to the fact that fans shouldn't just berate the club at every opportunity, but I'd prefer a fan to be realistic than just holding onto false hope. I don't HATE Arsene for what he has done, just what he is doing currently. You've gotta agree that a change needs to happen though. Can't hold onto the past, just leads you nowhere.
I appreciate those who are positive but seriously, you've gotta look at the reality of the situation. I take no satisfaction in the fact in the future I may get to say "told you so". I would swallow my pride in any case for Arsenal to have a turnaround. I'd take any personal attack or future personal attack to be proven wrong.

I seriously hope you guys are right, but in reality there are only a few supporters that face the true reality of the situation. It doesn't make you negative, it doesn't even make you a bad fan, it seriously - makes you realistic. We're all Arsenal fans here, lets find some common ground. Turning on each other serves no purpose to us at all.
