He says a lot does wenger. I recall him saying at Christmas time last season (when we had half a dozen injuries in defence) that it would be foolish to not find a loan player and lose games of football because we had no fullbacks etc. We then went on to lose every league game in January.

If we could push them to £7m I'd take it, otherwise we'd be surrendering serviceable bench depth too cheaply with Arshavin not likely to return as well, and it's lack of depth that has caused us grief the last few seasons.

Take Arshavin and Ramsey out of that list of midfield player and we need to be spending that money back again just to bring the depth up to a notionally acceptable level. M'Vila would only be the start of it.

i doubt wenger would do this, but ramsey would really benefit from a loan spell to another premier league club. playing a full season would do him a world of good. not the bit part experience he had with us, wenger even had him playing out on the left flank towards the end of last season which was crazy stuff.
