So was Hurn

Forgot he was there too. I remember LeCras because he had that blinder against Richmond at the MCG when we were rotating players but obviously still too young and raw for our first 22.

First time we haven't had a player from the previous flag play in the latest. Last player was Banfield 94 and 06.
Technically we maintain the streak of having a WCE premiership player on the list since 1992.

Sam Butler retired last year, so we had none until the grand final, but I'll still pay it as the streak continues.

He copped an absolute pantsing from Craig Bolton in the prelim and was dropped.

I assume you mean qualifying final and also looking it up he had just 1 kick, 1 handball, 1 behind and 1 tackle. Atrocious.

Yeah the first week loss to Sydney at Subi. Has that stinker, Armstrong ends up as a premiership player.

Armstrong was playing that game, too, though. 16 disposals and 1 goal.

Kerr replaced LeCras for the next match.

Yeah, it was the obvious change.

Looking back, Hurn played six games that year too. I guess it's all a matter of being in the right place at the right time, glad that the last remnants of the 2006 squad that missed out on the flag that year managed to snag one this year.

I know Willie only had it about 10 times but how bloody influential was he? The amount of absurd pick ups below his knees he had no right to one grab pickup was crazy.

He must have taken about 20-30 tackles and kept the ball in for us on the day. He is the cleanest player ive seen below his knees since Daniel Kerr

Time constraints taken up interviewing pies people ....ffs

Show the

What irks me the most is all these interviews were not shown live after the game

They showed Buckley’s presser ....

They mourned pies loss like someone had died

Awesomely happy for will Schofield ...oddly I was so calmly confident Will would get the job done
