Who are the most promising up & coming potential father/son selections? High profile picks this year include Nick Blakey, Rhylee West, Will Kelly and Bailey Scott, but what about beyond?

I'm happy to announce things are looking very healthy at the Bulldogs. Besides Rhylee West, next year we have Oliver Liberatore, who's looked good for Calder this year, Sam Darcy, who already looks like a beast, Ewan MacPherson, who was Vic Metro U16s captain this year and compared to Jimmy Bartel, and literal twin Wests, Kobi and Cooper.

Yep, things are looking pretty good.

Jackson mead is looking good for port next year, and Taj Schofield the year after is one of the top prospects his age.

Remarkably the son of 246 game 4 time premiership hero Borlase isn’t available to port (because he didn’t reach 200 before 1997, must have been very close) but is available to the crows as a nga player because he was born in Egypt when his dad worked there for a year and he falls into crows zone.

The afl have shrugged their shoulders and referred to it as an outlier which I know wouldn’t happen if it was the son of a club champion at some other certain favoured teams.

Casey Voss played a couple of SANFL reserves games towards the end of this season and was BOG in one of them. He also came up and played a couple of NEAFL games for the Lions this season.

Could be a rookie pick up for the Lions.
