which older blokes you think may see new kids give them the push?
Likewise I agree with you and am secretly hoping Guthrie, Simpson and Kersten can play good enough to hold their spot on a consistent basis
I like Schroder. He is tough at the footy and I think that he could be a tough Chapman type smaller forward. Also I could possibly see Kersten push for a spot on the flank. I think that with SJ in the center we have missed the extra marking option up forward when Pods and Hawkins are out of contention. Of course, I want to see Dan Menzel on the forward flank about mid season as he is good above his head and below the knees.
I think that McCarthy has a ton of talent, but he will need to make a big step in improving his fitness. He has good hands and great spring for a small player but he definitely needs a good preseason this year.
I don't need to mention Murdoch. I think if he continues to improve he is a certain starter in the senior side.
