Contract talks with Pat's management have already begun and are progressing as well as could be hoped. That's from a very reliable source. He was really dirty on himself for his last senior match against Collingwood, and doesn't feel like he's being unfairly treated by the coaching staff up here at all. I'm more than a little optimistic about him sticking around.

So you've heard of no desire being indicated then?

Well with any luck you'll be able to change up your avatar again pretty soon.

Seeing as Keane has changed his Twitter pic, mine is just confusing now, so let's all hope so.

So you've heard of no desire being indicated then?

To return home? Not at all. Doesn't seem to be a factor. I think if he were to leave, he'd be just as likely to go to any other club in the country as a Victorian one. Struggled a bit with homesickness early on in his time at the club but is completely past that now. At least, he was at the end of May.

Karnezis, from Oakleigh, has indicated his desire to return home to Victoria after three years in Brisbane.
Given he has been with Brisbane for 3 and a half years, maybe this is a reference to how much he enjoyed Christmas with the family.
I think it is a bit harsh to try and discredit the poor journo for reporting very likely fact. I am tipping Patty will likely spend Chrissie with the rellies again this year.

Lol, 98 percent of the article is about Leuenberger with one tiny, unsourced reference to Karnezis.

What a ****ing useless hack Jay Clark is.

Hahaha... seems like I should have slotted this in here after all.

As you can see, I've gone to a great effort to also back my tripe up with as many factual links/quotes too!

The Leuenberger news is possibly the best bit of news I've heard about the Lions all year.

Not just because he's a super player, but because it more or less confirms that the media speculation about Lions players wanting to leave is based on a perception of the club as dysfunctional and unhappy, which doesn't really bear close scrutiny.

The Jay Clark article screams cognitive dissonance. Leuenberger re-signed, but Brisbane are still a rabble, right? So... someone else must be about to leave! That's the only logical conclusion.
