Update on my trip to Melbourne

Found some really cheap air fares and some cheap accomodation, thanks to everyone that replied in my accom. thread earlier.

Flightcentre have a deal with Perth to Melbourne return for only $418!! Unbelievably cheap.

And I got a double room at one of the hostels on YHA for only $58 per night.

Looks like I will be able to stay in Melbourne for 9 nights, with about $250 spending money, and go to two games, all for about $1000.

Mate its more fun sharing with 4 or even 8 people. I went to Melb. last year and stayed at a hostel which was on Spencer Street. It doubled as a pub so was a great place to stay I had two stints there, the first week i stayed with 3 other guys and they were pretty kewl. The second week I stayed in an 8 person room. The first night it was me and 7 girls Through the week however some left and more guys came in. It's a great place to meet poeple thats for sure.

Make sure you take your passport because the hostel I stayed at required that as a form of a bond.

Well, I'm going with my girlfriend, so we want to have a private double bed room for obvious reasons

Good deal, same as what I got for last week. Is that $58 hostel an F1?
