I think it's fair to say the Swans are starting to approach the team they'll send out in round 1 - close enough to suggest the match should be very competitive. Other than the obvious absence of Malceski, the players missing who would be close to walk-up starts are Kennelly, Buchanan, Everitt, Richards, and Fosdike, with Schmidt also missing.

But only the first two of those are probables for round 1 in any case.

Happy with Simmonds and patto doing well

Everitt is out, might be why we're winning the ruck and probably the game.
Hard to judge really with Everitt out.

15.8 to 11.9 our way

Johnston's doing okay but not spectucular

Jay is walking the boundary - he's okay but done an injury by th elooks of it

Skill level on both sides not too crash hot.
