The University of Queensland Red Lions AFL Club are pleased to announce it will be offering multiple UQ Sports Achievement Scholarships for the 2017 season. Our scholarships are awarded to new and existing UQ students who have a proven level of high achievement in the sport of Australian Rules football.

Current students or prospective students for the 2017 year are open to apply.

The applications for 2017 scholarships close on the 31st October 2016. Our club encourages prospective students to apply for a scholarship even if they are unsure of their 2017 study ambitions.

But we want you to play Div 2, despite your proven high level of achievement.

Could be problematic. But $10k off your uni fees isn't too be sneezed at.

And I know of one NEAFL footballer from Aspley who is going to investigate this option. Agree Thommo - tax free as well...
