Just like Wimbledon, I think the winner of the US Open will be the victor of tonights Ivanovic/Williams match. Ivanovic has looked very impressive so far, and Venus showed at Wimbledon she is a capable and dangerous player. Both players game is well suited to hardcourts, and both are capable of dominating Henin.

TP already has his excuses..it usually only happens AFTER Rafa gets beaten! Covering all bases I see TP!

what excuses is it? he won the match in straight sets and he had to call the trainer 3 times in that match.Have you seen his knee is heavily strapped? .He was even asked in the press conference that why he is not able to move freely..Watch his match, he is obviously troubled by chronic knee problems

TP there are always idiots that dont know anything about the sport - dont feed the trolls mate!

Moya is into the quaters :D VAMOS!

Novak is two sets to love up in his match -I am offically jumping on the Novak Djokovic Bandwagon!!!!

well player ferrer, played his arse off. I dont know what happens to rafa in the 2nd half of the year, just stop dropping the ****ing ball short, ffs, his strokes barely crossed the service line, i hate it when he goes in his shell and waits for his opponent to commit mistake. At wimbledon he showed he can take it to the opponent, unfortunately he doesnt do it that often

My TAB account says thank you Ferrer. Nadal was never going to do much damage at the US Open. It actually is a credit to Nadal that he got through to the quarters. IMO the way he played (and i'll admit I didn't see the first set as I went to bed for a couple of hours), but the way he played was awful. Way too much topspin, he needed to hit the ball a lot flatter, and when he did he dominated points!

4TH Round.

4TH Round.

My point stands. The sooner Nadal learns that to win hardcourt grand slams you need to hit the ball a heck of a lot flatter, the closer he'll go to winning one. FFS he got dominated by David friken Ferrer..need I say any more! That was a shocking match for Nadal to lose, injured or not. He played dumb, defensive tennis and he faced the consequences.

Chela and Ferrera up first - do not like Chela and hoping Ferrera will win

Moya & Djokovic have the night session - Shame to see my two favorites go against each other but thats tennis im afraid

Hope the stupid yanks behave themselves this time - it was disgusting to see some having a go at Novaks ball bouncing whielst he was serving.....since he's playing Moya I doubt it!

maybe Roddick should loose a point for ever time he ajusts his shirt too many times  SHEESH!
