Doesn't matter if it's Kyle Emund. Novak's been given a draw of a lifetime, extra days to rest that wrist and then Edmund in the 4th, he might come out a touch rusty but no way he's losing to him.

Never heard of Emund before, I'm just watching his match against Isner. Emund seems ok

Madison Keys have survived yet another close one. was 5-1 down in the 3rd to win the TB(grrrr......). she was 2 points off losing her first round match v Riske as well.

Wasn't able to post much during the week due to heavy work commitments, thankfully that's lightened now.

Anyway, I think Nadal has been excellent so far and been the highlight of the tournament so far. He reminds me so much of the way he played at the US Open in 2010 and 2013. I hope this is a sign of things to come.

A little worried by Djokovic's lack of game time despite his progress so far. I read an article last week that he's been dealing with some private matters which he didn't elaborate upon, so this may go some way to explaining his slump since Roland Garros.

Tomic was a massive disappointment, Millman tries his heart out and I cannot help but be admired with the way he conducts himself. Kyrgios looks ominous so far.

A player who has slipped under the radar is Tsonga! He's one to look out for to go deep in this tournament.

Its interesting what motivates Champions. Most players are happy to have $10million in the bank others are happy to have the most Twits. Some , like Serena , just want to keep on being the best.

There have been times when I haven't liked Serena and there are times recently I don't care about her, but whatever my feelings I will always recognize a champion.

Terrible post. Has dug deep and pulled himself out of holes time after time and played through injury many times. He came into the tournament with a hip flexor injury and has received treatment in every match so far, even when winning, yet still fought through it.

There are many things you can criticise with Kyrgios, I don't see the point of making up shit just because you clearly dislike him.
