Tbh I haven’t seen a whole match of the Women’s all tournament. Saw a set here and there but that’s it. Only saw Millman and Demon and Thompson play. It’s on when I sleep mostly did catch the end of Coric v Tsitsipas too.

After my post I noticed he is playing against Medvedev so very low chance of making the final lol i think Medvedev will beat him

I think the hate been shown to Novak has its roots in racism , Especially from the American media , they cant stand that a Serb is that good. Novak does not stand up to American heroes and noble people such as Lance Armstrong , Marion Jones , Floyd Landis , Barry Bonds and many more.

Novak is a bloke who has donated money and money in huge amounts to poorer off people in Serbia and other places around the world, is by all accounts a decent bloke.

The lack of respect he gets from fans in the western world isn't an indictment on Novak but the fans and media, to witness one of the greats of all time been booed and taunted is just plain sad, goes to show how much class people from "our western world " really have and how much xenophobia and nationalism exists in the west.

Novak grew up against all the odds to became a champion from a poor background in a country under bombs ( NATO Bombing of Yugoslavia in 1991 for 80 days) if he were Swiss a movie would be made about him , I.E. they tried to destroy him but he won , gladiator in my book. That is exactly what irks Americans and some people from our Western world...how dare he be successful mentality.

Fact is Roger who is cold and has the personality of a doorknob and a selfish individual i.e crying like a emotional teenager when he wins trophies is always branded as lovely and wonderful and can do no wrong because he is Swiss. Fact is Novak became a champion against all the odds whilst Roger came from a background of luxury and entitlement and that is the reason Novak will win more grans slams , mentally he is stronger he knows this hate stems from racism and he lives in that mentality of " You tried to destroy me once ( 1999 ) and now your trying again"

In my opinion he will win 23 grand slams , i like rafa a lot , i like roger 2 but the hate towards novak is so clearly racism , its sad and pathetic , THE GUY does not crave your approval like some journos suggest , he is worth millions and he can just point to the scoreboard when his career ends with more grand slams victories then anyone else , journalist does anyone like or believe them ? Novak is laughing.

As for Nick Kyrgios he is up there with Richard Dawkins , Albert Einstein he is so smart and good looking up there with Brad Pitt ETC ... and he will win so many grand slams ( SARCASM) and is such a great speaker and is so well liked and respected ( MORE SARCASM) that's what nick wants to hear.

To the people who are full of hate due to racism against Novak , Just think of the millions and his lifestyle and the fact he really tbh is the best ever , if not now his career grand slam total will show that by the end.Enjoy you moment of Hate,Xenophobia and Bigotry you folks out there because it won't last long , this guy is a wolf mentally and wolves thrive under extreme pressure and hate.

I think Novak deserves respect , would one go to a theatre show or the opera and boo and taunt a great performer? and then call ourselves classy?

Why would one not conclude that they are witnessing one of the best ever ? and clap and show him some decency, unless obviously they were been impaired by xenophobia and hate those are the only logical responses to the hate this guy cops , fact is roger could defecate on court and he would be called charming whilst Novak could donate thousands ( as he does ) and still be branded an awful person. He is a Serb and he must be degraded is the response by some fans and most media outlets. Let it go people having known a few Serbs i don't think they care for your hatred they are not exactly people who care if someone hates them.....

Shelby is playing like a top 30 player atm. the more concerning warm-up result was getting taken to 3 sets by Arantxa Rus. That should never ever happen.

But I think she has warmed up this tournament. serena grand slam and Serena WTA are 2 different beasts.
She will win tmw but the remaining players in the draw can all beat her.
