Gosh watched the end of second set and third and yes Barty choked and Rogers who I quite like really played into it and lifted her game. Another thing with Ash is that she doesn't get the crowd involved like other players do. She tends to knuckle down and I think if she justs revs herself up with fist pumps etc it might get her going. I can see she is enjoying herself out there and is really up for the fight but get the crowd involved. I don't think Ash will be too upset she done what she wanted to achieve and that was too win Wimbledon this year, everything else icing on a cake. Will she win a hardcourt slam who knows, for me her backhand needs to improve.
I don't think Osaka and Barty are chokers that would be Pliksova and Svitolina. Osaka was not match fit and Fernandez played awesome tennis.
I still have a few favs I would love to see win it.
The crowd is loud but always has been. I think having a dj playing music into the night helps especially later in the week.
