Just watched it, not a great quality final. Ons got to be disappointed the way she has come out in that final.

But Iga proving why she's no.1. I don't think that was her best tennis this fortnight

Best quality women's GS final this year was Barty vs Collins. By a long way.

We miss you Ash boo hoo

Thought Alcaraz was gonna squander that 3rd set after a few wild UEs and have an uphill battle to come back in 5.

But he managed to take it.

Youngest ever world number one.

While that's an amazing achievement, let's be honest, Novak has allowed that to happen through the choices he has made.

Novak is terrible at the US bare in mind he was trounced last year. It’s his worst surface there is no way even as a Novak fan he’d win there.

Let's be honest, he's the world number one by default.

Novak not playing at the Aus Open or US Open, and winning Wimbledon but not getting any points.

You can at least it's a circumstance of everything that's happened this year

Still completely deserving, the guy is going to be dominant

All through his career he’s been average at the US not sure why but it hasn’t been a great tournament. Really should have won the year prior where he did get DQ though
