I'm all for Venus getting as many wildcards as she wants but surely that has to make you question what you are actually doing out there... Just hope that she doesn't want a wildcard in Melbourne next year.

I hope that is the last US Open for Venus. I am all for players to continue playing but I think she has won 1 match all year.

US events can do whatever they want because she still sells tickets/home player. Next year would be her 25th Open too so it wouldn't surprise me if she is aiming for that.
The other 3 slams yeah, I agree, shouldn't be given a wildcard unless proves form.
